The books that HAVE helped me make better choices of food (not that I stick to it ALL the time) is Suzanne Sommers, Sommersizing. It helps to kick start your weight loss goals and I NEVER felt hungry. It does throw off calorie counting a bit but its easy to come back to. Plus the whole book is useful info and great recipes.

I totally agree. To get over my quick sugar fixes I eat berries! They totally fill that void. Just don't eat anything else w/ them or for an hour or so after. Stick with it your gonna be so glad you did.

I found that I didn't have to have a conversation about healthy eating with my family when I stopped buying garbage. I make the meals in my house, I do the shopping so unless they are gonna shop for themselves make their own meals they eat what I make. Believe me they won't NOT EAT if its ready in front of them when…

Break it up. I do cardio only some days and I don't always go to the gym-get outside! and leave the watch in the car. Its easier to stay motivated with a change of scenery. when I do cardio at the gym along with strength I do it last you burn more calories that way.
