I'm slow but it's ok. I usually complete a 5K in about 42-45 minutes. I am practicing on the treadmill with walk/run intervals and also some incline work to get used to hills. For me, I want to build stamina and endurance. I'd like to run another half marathon. I'm not concerned about how fast I go, just that I can finish…

I run (beginner) and I started the Stronglifts 5x5 program about 3 weeks ago. You use a barbell and weights, which you can have at your home. I have found already that it is really helping with the running - my stamina has gotten a lot better and I just over feel better as well as getting some definition to my arms and…

I have the charge HR and it's great. Also, you can have the fitbit app and not own a fitbit - it's called mobile tracking. You have to carry your phone with you all day though. I found it when my charge died and I was in a weekly competition and sad that I was going to lose.

I never eat back a single exercise calorie so I don't pay much attention anyway. MFP gives me 1650 to eat for my goals and I eat that or stay under.

I switch it up. Mostly it's sweet potato, asparagus and tuna. I like tuna creations that are flavored and eat it out of the pack. I also have rolled lunch meat with string cheese and harvest snaps. I had spaghetti-o's yesterday - just made sure I stayed within my calorie limit :)

If I can't find what I want in grams then I usually create my own entry and enter with the grams. That way I know I am accurate to what the nutritional guide states.

I've been doing 5x5 for about 2 weeks now. I really like it too!

Quaker just released a high protein oatmeal, I think it's in 2 flavors right now. My husband likes the banana nut one.

I use a fitbit which syncs with MFP. The only time I add in exercise to MFP in addition to what my fitbit already gives me is when I do yoga and sometimes when I do the elliptical. I never add it separate when running because my fitbit is already counting in those steps and turning them into calories.

Were you fitted for shoes or just bought some you thought would work? I had major issues with my legs when I first started to the point I was in tears. I rested my legs for 2 weeks, chatted with some of my friends that were runners and got my feet checked out at a running store. I haven't had any problems since!

You'll have both apps open at the same time, you do not need a HRM. I used to use endomondo but bought a fitbit so I don't really log anything since the fitbit syncs with MFP.

I like them. I eat a half of one almost everyday for a snack at work. My favorite is the vanilla almond (it tastes like nougat). I heat it up for about 15 seconds and put a tbsp of PB on top. So amazingly delicious.

It'll get easier. I've been going to a class at the gym for about 2 months and I have fallen over a few times and knocked into someone. Your strength will continue to build and the moves will get easier.

I love anything by Pitbull. Using the songs they play in Zumba are the ones I like to run to because i feel "pumped". I also like Flo-Rida, Lil Jon and really anything upbeat.

^^Same for me. I've had the Fitbit One for a year and a half and I love it and depend on it.

I have a pair of New Balance 890v2 and Saucony Kinvara 3. I love them both. I wouldn't say that all shoes of the same brand are created equal though. i donated a pair of New Balances because they just didn't feel right on my foot. I open to trying all shoes as long as they fit in my budget.

Usually the foods that aren't processed are on the outside perimeter in the grocery store. Fish, poultry, meat, veggies, fruits... Avoid the crap in the aisles.

I eat it every single day too. As long as you are within your calories, I don't see a problem.

Definitely more about the fun than anything. I just did the Color Run on 5/11 and will be doing Color Me Rad in September. I took my 5 year old with me. We ran some and walked some it was all about the color though!

There is a high school track in my neighborhood. It usually takes me the entire warm-up to walk there and I just do the program on the track.

I had to stop for about a month as well at the same location as you due to being sick, having a sick child, vacation, etc. I just started completely over on Sunday. I wiped out the old data from my phone and started over. W1D1 was super easy but I didn't want to skip it, I wanted to build myself back up again.
