  • I always salt and pepper an avocado b4 consuming it. my fav way: BAT sandwich: bacon avocado tomato good in a mexican chicken/veg soup too, dice and put it in right before serving. i also like it smeared on toast to eat alongside eggs.

  • if you aren't vegan, dont forget things like yogurt and cheese. find a fav tempeh. for tofu w/o tofu: try 1/4 container soft tofu, cup soymilk, peanut butter, strawberries, sweetener and ice. it is wonderful and doesn't taste like tofu at all. check nutritional stats on seeds and nuts...some have more protein than others.

  • watch your carbs while staying w/in your caloric allotment. Give it a try for a week and see if you notice a difference on the scale. I now aim to consume less than 100 carbs a day. It's made a difference for me, while sticking w my previous 1500 cals a day.
