  • To be honest, I say you should cut back the fruits a little bit and eat them earlier in the day. Sugars good or bad still turn to fat, just like carbs (which fruit is full of) carbs turn to sugar and then to fat. I suggest eating half a serving of fruit and a service of veggies. Like some carrot sticks and half an apple.…
  • Welcome, and well wishes to you on your weight loss journey :) A lot of us have had/still have self image issues. You're motivated to do this, and your will power is strong. These two things with consistency will get you to where you want to be. It's slow, and what were doing is making life style changes. You may see fast…
  • Go to www.sparkpeople.com this site has a recipe calculator! It's fantastic for homemade meals :)
  • What you see is the typical less is better food nutritional label. But yes they are talking about frozen. See I like the labels that spell it out for me. They list frozen or cooked, with milk, without milk and so on. Ugh...
  • LOL, welcome - and well wishes to you on your fat conquering journey!

  • There are probably 100s of reasons your tummy will growl. It happens while we digest foods, if we've swallowed far too much air... on and on. I say eat small meals throughout the day, you will hear you tummy growl but it's pretty normal for that to happen.
  • You may want to take a look at your diet. Food reacts differently to everyone. Have you changed your eating patterns? Dairy products tend to bind people right up, make sure you're eating plenty of green veggies and fruits high in vitamin C. The acidic fruits like grapefruits will help as well. Maybe take a look there,…
  • Do you sit in an office chair? If so you should think about using a big yoga ball (pop resistant). This is what I sit on all day at work.... I bounce around and move constantly. When I sit in a chair I tend to slouch which constricts breathing and was making me crave crap too - less good oxygen makes you sleepy... Just a…
  • I consider myself not done with my workout until I am dripping sweat. :D
  • Baked red potatoes with light olive oil, vidalia onions and fresh rosemary!
  • I see and hear what your saying. I generally exercise at 4am before my children get up. But really this is all up to you and what you think should fit into your life. What about bike riding with your loved ones and incorporating them in your work outs somehow. We do family bike rides, or play a game of flash light tag late…
  • You need to remember that each day is new. Each day you start out fresh with a fresh set of calories. Don't ever pull calories from the next day and don't add them from the previous day. If you exercise that day, it's different but there are no roll overs.
  • After you lose 10 pounds MFP will ask you if you'd like to adjust them, if you say yes, then it will recalculate your calories to align with your current weight and what your deficit should be to reach your goal. This happens for every 10 pounds until you've reached 1200 calories, it won't go below this.
  • I suggest keepinga note pad around and maybe jotting down how you're feeling around those times. I found that when I was in a comfortable place or around those I loved I was covering up things that actaully made me feel depressed or hidden fears... Just a suggestion.
  • I don't use Bose either, but I wanted to congratulate you on reaching your goal!!! Way to go!
  • Freakin Awesome! *butt bumpin high five* OOOOOOHHHHHH YA!!!!
  • our bodies process things very differently from one another. I would not rely on this as a life style. When you're working out you're building muscle and replacing it for the fat, so you're weight loss on the scale will/could be less, but if you take your measurements - you will see the decline. make sure you're taking…
