The same happened to me many years ago and I regained all my weight and more. However, I got back on the bandwagon a year ago and I'm the healthiest I've ever been. I'm really happy with the way I look now, but the other week someone commented that I was too skinny. These weeks I've been really stressed out with…

Thank you for posting these updates; they have been really helpful in my own journey of trying to maintain my weight. I've been maintaining my weight (between 60.5 and 61.5) for a little more than a month now and have made many findings. I found that I became obsessed with numbers and making sure I was eating enough…

23 yo 5'5 (165cm) SW:84kg CW/GW:60.6kg (134lbs) I've realized at this weight that I have a medium-large body frame, so if I lose more weight I'm afraid I may look like a skeleton. My collar and hip bones are very prominent...Sadly, my thighs are still pretty thick, but I'm appreciating them more now. Finally learning to…

I think the number of calories you need to maintain depends on your activity levels. Sometimes we may be more or less active than our activity settings lead us to think. Since I work at an office, I put my settings as sedentary. And, since I'm 5'5 and 134 lbs (165 cm and 61 kg), it has given me 1720 calories for…

Hi, everyone! I'm 5'5 and currently weigh 137. The before pictures were taken in June 2013 and the after pictures were taken today at home. I saw this post and was inspired to make my own before and after image. Currently, I'm working on kettlebells to increase my strength. Cheers!

I think this applies to me as well. Of course, I'll have sweets and pizza once in a while, but if I have those, I will try to balance it out by walking more or eating more healthy food. While I enjoy the tastes and textures of those foods, in the back of my head, I will be thinking about how those affect my nutrition.…

I was going to say yes, but I forgot that my school is in the Midwest! :p

Okay! So, I logged what I ate today plus my workout. I got a net of about 2000 calories. Also, thank you Adriene for that portion website! I'll use it since I'm too poor (college student here~ ^^) to buy my own food...(meals are included in the rent where I live) - Idrosophila: 'Cause I know that if I give up, I'll gain…

Ramberta: Yes, I've come to realize this. I've also come to realize that I such at calculating portions without measuring first :P lol I guess I'll start to make and measure my own food like I do back home... ndj: I'll see what I can do. Thanks! And, apparently (just checked), my TDEE is 2608 calories... o_o

nm8962: I try my best to log my meals when I'm at school, but I've found it near impossible since we have a cook making our meals. However, I will make a concerted effort to do so as it seems the only thing I haven't accounted for...And, yes, you are right. Perhaps if I did, I would see that I'm eating too much.…

Student here!~ Got to admit that it's especially hard staying in shape on campus with all the quick eats offered :( Having motivation is definitely key.

Hi, I'm 21 and I'm in! My pants have gotten a little tighter this holiday season, so this challenge is a good incentive to get into shape!

Hey. I understand what you're going through. I've had hip/pelvis pain on my right side for over four months now. The thing is that it hurts when I exercise...My doctor told me that when they removed my appendix it should have gone away, but it hasn't. I'll be visiting my doctor next month and I'll share here what she says.

I'm half white and Hispanic, but I've been told I look Japanese (they always say it's the hair and eyes). But "mi nariz indio" always gives it away jaja

I walk to work every morning to arrive at work at 9:30 (30 minute walk). I walk back home for another 30 minutes at 5:30. Besides that I run at least 3 times a week and do some weight training. Sometimes I'm wondering if I should continue to count my walks to and from work as exercise since I don't consider it an…

Hi! Hi! I'm 5'5. HW: 195-200 SW:167 CW: 164.4 GW: 145 UGW: 135 Before starting MFP, I lost those first 30 pounds very gradually by commuting to school using public transportation and walking. I also began sleeping and eating on a fixed schedule. I really do think our bodies need stability. Now, I'm adding exercise (3x a…

Hi! I'd love to help out. Congrats on the little one~

Hello! I'm looking for new friends too! I just started about a month ago. My form of working out is walking to work everyday (about 70 mins roundtrip) and doing strength training exercises every night. On weekends, I up the tempo with more strength training, cleaning the house, and exploring the city by walking.
