I would invest in a HRM. I found that my calorie burn was way off from what MFP said it should be.

You might want to up your calorie intake and see if that works. Also you scale my not show a difference but your measurements might show the difference. I just started P90X and became an Independent Team Beachbody Coach so if you have any questions feel free to contact me.

I am normally out the door by 6:30 also but I have to do my hair and put my makeup on at home. I would get into trouble if I tried to do it at work.

I was getting up at 3:45 to walk on my treadclimber every morning before I had to get my son up and ready for school and myself ready for work. I did it for a long time. But after awhile it wore on me and I now work out at night.

My treadclimber is pretty spot on with my HRM. But I think it is because I have to enter weight and all that into the treadclimber before I work out so it gets pretty close to what my HRM says.

I set MFP to 1200 calories a day and then I enter the P90X into my exercise diary for an automatic 600 calories since P90X states I should consume 1800 calories a day. I tried to wear an HRM but it doesn't calculate the calories burned for your weight lifting, pull ups and push up days. Those workouts burn calories…

I have been eating a Lenders Wheat bagel with one wedge of laughing cow light garlic and herb cheese.

I just turned down Chinese food for lunch because it is way to tempting for me. Although ours does have Sushi bar which is sometimes healthier.

I take a P90X packet of vitamins everyday along with my iron pill. I think it just depends on the person and what your body is lacking.

I would say your best bet is soft shell corn tortillas. The hard shells have less calories but they are fried. It's funny that I saw this post because I had just text messaged my husband and told him that I was making tacos with the ground beef I took out this morning.

I am on my 7th week of P90X and I am loving it. I was not very fit when I started it but I just kept pushing play everyday and did all the workouts to the best of my ability.

My knees bother me also. Especially after Plyo. I would just modify the moves and bring it as best as you can.

I am on my 7th week of P90X and so far I haven't noticed much of a difference in my arms. I never lifted weights or anything like that until I started doing the program. My husband just keeps reminding me that it takes time. So my advice to you is keep working at it and over time your Bicep/Tricep's will improve.

Thanks for posting this. I was actually thinking abt buying the Shakeology from Beachbody but I wasn't sure if it really worked. You said you have been drinking it everyday. Are you noticing a difference?

I always go straight to the kitchen and make my P90X recovery drink. YUM :-)

I don't eat after 7 at night. If I work out later then I drink my recovery drink but that is it. I have always heard that your not supposed to eat 3 hours before going to bed so 7 is normally cut off time. If your going to eat anything I would say some fruit or veggie.

Thank you everyone for your ideas. I ended up slicing the eggplant and makeing a lasagna with it. Instead of using noodles I used the eggplant. It came out good. I just need to figure out a way to get the bitter taste out of the eggplant. :-)

My husband and I are doing P90X. He uses the pull up bar and I use the bands. Our pull up bar isn't anywhere near the TV. We just pause the DVD and our pull ups and then go back into the livingroom and play the DVD again.
