50+ pounds - what a huge difference! :)

I have the same problem... if I wait till I'm hungry I feel like grabbing anything I can get my hands on. I try to eat every 2-3 hours and I've upped my water. I'm still coming in under my calorie goal, but netting over 1,200 every day.

my lowest weight - as an adult - was 150 and I was comfortable there. I could shop anywhere and be happy :) that's more than what every calculator says should be my goal, but if I went to 125 I'd feel sickly thin. no idea about the BMI... but right now I'm shooting for under 200!

welcome! and best of luck :)

ive always been introduced, "this is my friend, Amy" :) so I'm myfriendamy LOL

that's awesome! having someone notice the hard work you're doing is so great!
-
welcome! you've taken the first (and hardest!) step by coming here :) MFP can be a great tool... play around with it and check things out as far as logging your food and calories. there's also a blog area, if you want to write about your journey there... and this forum is great for advice and support. I started about 5…

green grapes and Oreos in the same bite!

that's awesome!!! amazing!!

I mix in some cinamon and a tiny bit of honey - then use it as a dip for apples. yum! but yeah - the plain is just gross :(

I like the calorie free flavored sparkling waters as well (I get mine at Vons or CVS, 10 for $10). but I can't have any till I drink my 24oz water jug :) I also get the propel things to add to water, if I don't feel like drinking. but I think what works the best is just always having ice water handy. :) and yep - I got one…

best of luck to you (all the newbies!) :) MFP has a great support structure. I've been here 5 weeks and I love it! (I just noticed it says July 09 on my thing... I started this account back then and would randomly input meals... I've only been REALLY here a few weeks) :)

put the pan in the sink, squirt soap on them and run the water into the pan! :) I'm SO not above getting one out of the trash LOL

I'm with you! since I started MFP 5 weeks ago, I've rarely felt hungry! I actually tracked an average "before" day and WHOA! I want to say it was close to 3,000 calories! insanity. I had under 1,600 calories today, I ate well and I didn't feel hungry at all. I have my sweets/ice cream every day (WW instead of Ben and…

I'm in the same boat - but as a single mom I can't hit the gym before/after work. I walk around the building on breaks and lunch (I eat at my desk when I can). I also volunteer to do any walking (delivering reports, signing in the xerox guy, whatever) and take the stairs whenever I get the chance. I want to get a set of…

I'm a 44DD and I love mine! I got it at roadrunner sports - it's by moving comfort style# 350011 (movingcomfort.com) it's underwire, but comfortable. and best of all, it doesn't go over your head! I don't jog in it (yet!) but I tried it out jogging and it gives great support :)

you've done great :) keep up the good work... the sizes will be gone before you know it!
-
welcome! :) my baby is 4, and one of my goals is to get to the weight I was immediately after he was born LOL 15lbs to go. you can do it!
-
I'll second the vote for the fiber one brownies! at 90 calories they're awesome - and they actually taste great! I'm also partial to the WW dark chocolate raspberry ice cream bars for 80 calories... heaven!
-
what an inspiration! thankyou so much for sharing - you look amazing!!

I think the more you have to lose, the faster it comes off (initially). I was 298 when I started MFP in July... and I'm down 20lbs in 5 weeks. to me, that seems like a lot, and fast. but I'm not hungry, I'm netting over 1200 a day (usually closer to 1500'or 1600) and I'm walking. I set my thing for (I think) 2lbs a week,…

I weigh in once a week. its too easy for me to let the scale - and the numbers - psyche me out. so I weigh Sunday mornings :)
-
I like it :) for me, it's a healthier option when eating out. I wouldn't eat there every day, but I'd rather take my 400ish calories for a whole meal there, than 500calories (or more!) for a burger across the street :)
-
welcome back! :) two sets of twins?! your hands (and heart!) must be full - what a blessing :) a sweet tooth isn't the kiss of death - everything in moderation! you can do it :)
-
I have a 4 year old - and my motivation is the same... I just want to keep up with him! :) you can do it! :)
-
very cool! thank you :) I didn't know MFP would prompt me. but yeah, I'd rather do a gradual calorie drop! I'll keep doing it the way I have been.
-
I enjoy eating out, too :) what I try to do is go online and view the menu/nutritional info before I go, and plan out my meal before I set foot in the restaurant. I don't even look at the menu! I'll enjoy my drink and visit with friends... and try to be the last one done (I tend to eat too fast). that's really helped me…

welcome! I've been here just a few weeks, but I love seeing my "friends" updates and cheering them on. also, knowing they can see my updates helps keep me honest! LOL feel free to add me as a friend, if you'd like :) there are many people here to offer great support and advice.
-
that is fantastic! you're so close! I'm at the beginning of my journey, but you're an inspiration!

welcome! for breakfast I'm a big cereal fan, and I love the special K red berry cereal with a banana. or kashi go lean cereal (lots of fiber!) mixed with a small tub of light yogurt - crunchy and sweet. :)
