Sarasota! :) Hi.

Thanks for the heads up on the histamine theory. I decided to look into it and I'm starting to wonder if maybe this could be one of my issues. I've started taking vitamin C to reduce my histamine levels and it seems to be helping. I still have to avoid Corn and wheat (also gluten products) but at least I seem to be able to…

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Sheesh. I never even realized that I was having issues with Boars Head. It's ironic that my body seems to like certain things (like Roast Beef) but I generally avoid most other meats from Boars Head. Weird. I've been dealing with a corn allergy and didn't even think to look there. Thanks…

They should have two different camping events with varying types of exercise. I heard this camp included some high risk activities that might be dangerous to us who can't pull our weight like Rock Climbing and 50 mile hikes (suspect this has to be an error on the web site - that's awful long). They supposedly announce the…

I tried the pancakes...less than memorable. Thanks for the update on their carrot cake mix. That sounds promising.

I think you need to stop worrying about a relationship and leave him as a friend. You just got out of a bad relationship so you need to focus on friendships, hobbies, exercise and your career. Getting involved with someone after having been with someone for 10 years is just jumping into marriage too quickly. Honestly, it's…

Aloe - coat it on thick! Your skin will absorb it and use it to heal itself. It also feels nice.

Lack of potassium? You could eat a banana and see if that helps.

You should keep a diary on a calendar of days when you have reactions. You can backtrack here and look at those days and see what you were eating. You may not show an allergic reaction to corn BUT you may have an issue with Corn Syrup. I know also that if you're eating a lot of sweets, you can end up with something called…

What do you guys do for breads? I'm going on a hiking trip and want some alternatives for packing light lunches as I travel about. I seem to be running into issues due to the corn/wheat thing as so many items are gluten free but NOT corn free.

What's scary is the topping. I looked at the calories on a can and it's enough to make your hair go white. If you top it with real fruit, you could probably lower some of those calories and eat even more!

This is annoying because my intolerance is causing rashes. The heavy whipping cream doesn't seem to affect me too much but yogurt was causing me to have issues. I wonder if it's because it's aged? I can't drink regular milk either. What I find truly annoying is my allergist had told me I had no milk allergy. You may be…

Actually, I've found lots of good gluten free replacements which are not bad on sugar. Gluten free does not equate with sugar. I eat waffles - just made of rice and buckwheat and other grains. I look at labels and purchase the healthy stuff. Heck, you can find tons of unhealthy wheat laden cookies and crackers full of…

There's no such thing as full blown versus less...if you have Celiac's - you have Celiac's. If you're talking allergies, that's completely different. Some people may tolerate wheat - others like myself can't eat it at all without having all sorts of nasty reactions to it. Also, while you may not agree with the science…

The reason I suggested contacting the police involved the fact that she said they'd been there multiple times at the same time. A parking area with a vehicle that's always there at the same time - near a church - and not a place that would have constant movement is suspicious. They may be checking out the church to rob it…

http://www.kait8.com/story/19328860/police-investigate-attempted-kidnapping-in-van-buren I found all sorts of articles about white vans and kidnappings. I would contact the police for sure. It's possible that you spotted something seriously bad. They will most likely investigate it. Monica

Call the police and tell them about your experience. Heck, they may set up a sting with you and your mom and grab the person. That would get a creep off the street and would make your lives a whole lot safer. Monica

I for one am hoping they catch this person. I read that Google created some sort of app (or maybe a website) to help people find each other. I'm sure this is a very scary situation.
-
Bump. I'm hoping they find something in the videos to track this person down. Anyone willing to do this here is willing to do it to other countries as well. My prayers go out to those individuals. If you're in Boston, I hope your friends are safe and that everything is well.

I miss Eureka. :( Why on earth did they cancel it....seems like all the good shows die young. Sigh. I know there's a new one hitting this Monday on Sci Fy but I can't remember the name of it...something to do with a new Earth and living with alien races. Anyone recall the name?

I agree. That's why I've been looking for environmentally friendly companies producing products like rice in the USA. I didn't buy the rice from here because of this - I found this out AFTER I started buying the American rice. I had no idea about it. Monica

I try to buy American whenever possible. I just was surprised by the lead issue. I hadn't realized things were that bad in some of these countries.

Bandit! He looks like a Bandit!

The cheese is what makes it really Pan de yuca in disguise as a fake gluten free bread. It's really a south American bread rolled into a roll or bagel. Grin. I did see the bagels with raisins and got tempted but once I saw they had no cheese - chose not to bother with them. I've had plain tapioca bread and it sucks. It…

While getting motivation from others does it, it's definitely not the most important part. You have to interact with others and post on their posts AND you have to want to lose the weight. Internal motivation is critical. I suspect that's why some people end up leaving. It's not that they didn't get the support, it's that…

I'm still trying to figure out the boot thing. I kept finding pictures of guys wearing skinny jeans and boots. Is that the newest fashion? I must admit though, I will always prefer a guy in a nice pair of comfy levi's. Now that's super sexy....the skinny jeans are well...odd. I keep feeling like the guy is raiding a…
