1) I stay away from white and neon colors. 2) Biggest pet peeve are running/workout skirts with attached shorts that are too short! Less than a 4 inch inseam and those babies ride up like crazy! I have MANY running skirts that I have ended up cutting the shorts out of and wearing UA compression shorts underneath. When I…

I have been taking Zumba classes for over 3 years, and I LOVE it when I see someone begin to make their way to the front! I know how difficult and victorious that move is! It means that you are gaining confidence and beginning to be comfortable in your own skin. That you are finally starting to feel in control! That you…

Is it possible that you always weighed 118-123 because you were a child? And now you are a woman? There is a reason (besides keg parties) that so many girls gain weight in college. Why not concentrate on getting fit and strong. This may make you feel and look so much better than simply losing weight.

So even if there are a few scoffers (and, believe me, life has a way of catching up to them eventually!), there…

I don't think either of these people were trying to be rude or bridezilla. We have no way of knowing the tone of voice, but I imagine the sister was just acknowledging your weight loss and trying to be funny - the same with the friend. the problem is that both of these comments were rather backhanded compliments. Kind of:…

What excellent advice! I'd never heard about the 2800 cal, but it seems reasonable.

Absolutely! I've had to skip Zumba for the past month due to an ankle injury and, coincidentally, my weight loss has come to a standstill! Started back this week and it feels so good! Zumba is a really good whole body exercise - and it is a lot of fun! Just expect to feel awkward the first few times - everyone does!

Whew! I had a hard time believing the average BMI of Colorado was 20%!
