Are u taking any supplements? Green tea is very common to have this effect. Certain Vitamins typically can result in this. Cramps are a indication of too much, and too little water. Milk is not a good idea before exercise!!

this is interesting...I'm also 1200 cals a day, and 56 carbs. Something has got to be wrong. From my professional opinion, I think this is bad because it's just too low. You NEED more carbs. Carbs supply energy to the body, 15 is just too low, I'll say it again. I think you should go manually reset yours to about 45-65…

This is sooooo true for me too!! When you get to the "Grossed-out" point, I feel like thats when my lifestyle has officially changed. I used to be soooooo excited to go to Olive Garden and "pig-out" on the salad, bread sticks, and never ending pasta bowls. I can't even begin to think of doing that! And honestly I feel like…

The way I use is a very accurate technique!! It's a ACSM (american college of Sports Medicine) Protocol. I use the Heart Rate Reserve Method. (HRR) goes like this... HRmax-RestingHR=HRR (HRR)(Desired exercise Intensity) + RestingHR ---> Do this twice for your low and high intensity Now I'll do an example equation for…

Same here! I was like...what? That poor Granny! ahhaha this is a funny article! It's funny b/c it's soo true! Nothing better then feeling more Sexy! Congrats!! :drinker:

I saw a special on TV about this man. Very inspiring. I believe it was on Oprah, not sure. He was a very motived man. All it took was one other man to also believe in him. His trainer and him worked together, and put out a lot of dedication. They are now best friends! Because of man going though the weight problems was…

I've never tried...nor will I try it. This is a VERY contraversial diet. Both the Journal of the American Medical Association, and the Journal of Clinical Nutrition have studied this fairly in depth. This is not a safe technique to weight-loss. There is some debate on weather this is even an effective method. In my…

I don't do a cheat day...for that can back fire WAY TOO easy. I do a cheat meal...once a week. Often my cheat meal is a pasta. Cheat days can get VERY costly...in terms of carb, cals, and fat consumption. One cheat day can completely neglect everything good "thing" you've done throughout the week. I don't recommend cheat…

Increasing your protein will typically result in more weight-loss. For me personally, any increase in carbs, typically has little benefit. Protein will help you build more muscle, and have better recovery after an intense work-out. Muscle "burns" fat, and the more muscle you are able to gain, the more fat you are able to…

OMG!!! that is soo bad! I'm soo surprised a coach would do this? Well, I've herd of this sort of thing for wrestling...thats common sadly  ....but football? Loosing weight for football? Most coaches want the "boys" to gain...this is insane, and makes me really mad to be honest...that coach needs a good talking to!! I…

Trust me...I was NOT considering this...I was just so surprised that this is a legit "fitness product" I just had to see if people have tried this! haha...I'm just glad to see that people agree with me on this!!

I agree completely! Kashi is most likely the best option. Frozen foods are deceptive because of the very high Sodium :( Kashi tries to eliminate the sodium and uses much better ingredient! And they taste GREAT!! :)

I do HIIT a lot! i love hit i"m built like a power and strength athlete but because of my hiit training i have an excellent VO2Max!! The most simple style HITT that I do is on a treadmill. I run at 6mph for 5mins then walk up an incline or 10-15% for another 5mins. This varies my HR from about 147-185(at the highest). I…

When I was in high school, I worked all thought out high-school at a grocery store...(ick)...and I'm guilty of judging peoples carts. And I certainly didn't know half of what I know now!! You should be proud that your making better food choices. Why not? You have well earned it, and congratulations to you on that! I don't…

I love Yoga! Every class I go to I leave with a feeling of excitement, I'm more awake, and no matter what mood I go to class with I'm sure to leave with a much much better mood. (Funny how that works)

- Exercise is now part of my natural daily routine. It's like brushing my teeth, and I wouldn't even begin to think about going without that! - I don't feel guilty when I don't exercise a day. Besides, the body needs days to rest and regenerate itself. - I'm cautious about my food choices when I eat at a restaurant. I used…

I agree with you completely! Well put....

Hey there! One of my favorite Exercises to do for Inner-Thigh Regions is with a Physio-ball (exercise ball. Swiss ball...etc). While sitting on the floor with bent knees, I place the ball between my legs (knees), and squeeze. Do 10 squeezes, and hold each for about 5-10seconds. 2 sets is plenty, and often one set is ideal…

I liked reading this...I think many people have this problem. In my experience with Instructing Group Exercise and personal Training...I have found that Yoga, Pilates, and more intense Strength Training are perhaps your answers. Yoga can assist with your confidence and acceptance of your "New you". Pilates will help…

I love Working out to Animals by Nickelback! Very upbeat and good rhythm to workout too.... Also, any 80's hair bands are good upbeat and fun songs for working out. In addition ACDC, Great White, Heart....good workout music! I always pick my workout playlist based on the beat and rhythm of the music. Fast songs I tend to…

you need to approach this as something you WANT...not something you have to do. Keep to things you like and enjoy....but make alterations. It's all based on many small alterations that make one HUGE impact. You'll enjoy it in time...if you don't already. All it takes is seeing your improvements and tracking what you've…

...and I hate to break it to you, but it IS FACT that carbohydrates give energy. One does need an adequate amount in their diet. Carbs are more easily digested then fats and Proteins. By not taking in carbs one can actually cause the body to break down protein. Thus, this causes a degeneration of muscle tissue. which can…

first of all... I wasn't attacking you as I has said. and I most definitely didn't say that high carb was good either. but Low carb can be negative, It can cause Ketone's to go out of wack. I was simply giving caution. I'm not some average joe off the street either. I do this for a living and am studying Physiology of…

be very cautious of low-carb diets! Yes, you'll lose weight, but you are putting your heath at jeopardy. One needs carbs for energy, thats a fact. So, decreasing carb intake dramatically is decreasing energy dramatically. Your metabolism takes energy to function...think about that...do you really wanna slow down your…

arewethereyet! Soooooo true about the jump-rope! I completely forgot to say that! I just told some that earlier too! Jump-roping is amazing!

I personally like to interval train like this.... HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) Style Warm-up for 5mins on a bike then... I run at 6mph on a treadmill for 2mins... (thats the high Intensity part) then set the treadmill to an incline....about 9-10% and walk up an incline for 5mins (thats the low intensity part) I…

I wanna add something VERY important when taking your pulse! NEVER use your thumb, or don't let your thumb touch your radial or carotid artery site that your taking it at. Your thumb tends to have a difference pulse then the rest of your body, this could lead to some very inaccurate readings. and as the above said, as long…

YES!!!!! BECAUSE DIETS DONT WORK!! It's ALWAYS the lifestyle changes that WORK!
