This is one of the best NSVs I have ever seen on here. Being more positive about food is such an awesome thing. Go you!

Broil some fish/chicken lightly seasoned Mix a pot of quinoa with low sodium veggie or chicken broth in a 1 to 1 ratio, boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes I'm not sure if they have them where you are, but I get the pre chopped fresh produce in a plastic bag that is microwavable. Most days I…

I'm hoping Blake keeps some of the fire he had last season with Knights. I was there at those games where it was almost too close for comfort, but here's to hoping.

I watched this last night and almost ended up dying laughing. I am recently gluten free due to a sensitivity test (test confirmed BTW), and I thought this was hilarious. I was diagnosed at a young age with food allergies, so I've been a label reader for my whole life. I don't understand how people can jump on a bandwagon…

I have a half-fold Cellerciser that we have had for over 2 years and it's going strong. I'm a big girl, and it is holding up well. http://www.cellerciser.com/store/

Just wanted to clarify that Silk has 6g of protein vs. the 8g of protein in cow's milk, so you're statement isn't entirely true. The protein is natural to the soy but the other stuff is all added whereas in cow's milk it isn't added. Now, personally I can't have cow's milk because I am allergic, but I'm also allergic to…

My opinion as an RN is that if you must do bariatric surgery, then you should choose the gastric Sleeve surgery. There are far less complications (i.e dumping syndrome) than the Roux en-Y procedure. Also, you have better absorption of nutrients and you can actually take medications with sleeve that you can't with the…

For clean protein, I like Garden of Life Raw Protein. It comes in Chocolate, Vanilla, Vanilla Chai, and Unflavored. It is plant-based and dairy free. It is stevia sweetened. I like the vanilla chai. I like that it has enzymes and probiotics as well.…

My general advice, too, is to try to eat more whole foods instead of processed diet foods. Many times when food manufacturers make "diet" foods, they tend to add more sugar or salt to compensate for reducing the fat in the food to increase the flavor. If you balance your diet with a whole food diet of fresh fruits,…

I have a BMF Advantage and I love it. I feel it gives very accurate information, but since the acquisition, it seems that BodyMedia might be defunct :( I was waiting for the Core 2 to come for over a year now. Even though I love my BMF, I am on the hunt for something new and I was also looking into the Fitbit Force until…

I have no shame showing my armband. I am proud of the fact that I am doing something to better myself and increase health, so IMO, you should own it. Wear it with pride.

I just wanted to clarify a point made here. With Alli, you can have up to 15 grams of fat per meal not per day. I stuck to these guidelines and lost about 10 lbs on it, but I blew the diet portion so I stopped taking it as not to have the potential side effects.

Yeah for some reason the Android version does not have that feature. It only pulls the data in but does not upload to the website. Hopefully this will be fixed in the future to be updated like the iPhone version.

I have a S3 too, and I don't have a problem connecting my BMF with my phone. I use it all the time for workouts and checking my stats on the fly. I've had to re-pair it a few times, but it works well most of the time. I used to have an HTC EVO and could never use the BT feature, so I love the fact that I can now. As for…

Welcome to MFP. I really like this website for keeping track of my calories burned and calories eaten. I have about 111 lbs to go at this point and love supporting my friends on here. Add me if you like and I'll help you reach your goals.

It looks pretty cool and I like the HRM add-on. Maybe it'll be time for an upgrade come November around my birthday because it'll be 3 years since I've had my Link.

New to the group...long time Whovian. I actually spent the night at my mom's house in order to celebrate Whomas. Watched the marathon leading up to the special all day. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Jenna-Louise. She is an awesome actress who totally plays off Matt's Who very well. As for the character of Clara Oswin Oswald, all…

I love Fringe. So sad that it is ending, but I'd rather watch Doctor Who any day of the week.

I would love to be a part of this challenge, especially it is aimed at the whole person instead of just weight loss. This new year, I am dedicated to finally shedding these extra pounds.

Hey everyone. Please feel free to add me too. I'm 31, 5'2", and currently 235. I've lost 2 pounds this week, even with the holiday, so I want to keep it going. I'm trying to lose about 115 lbs. I am really motivated this time to lose weight, even though I've been trying for a long time. I actually purchased and BodyMedia…

Emily, your picture is beautiful and your body is beautiful. 88 lbs is underweight unless you are roughly 4'4", which I highly doubt you are. Please seek medical advice and learn that your body is beautiful.

Hey. I'm almost in the exact same boat as you. I am 5'2" and 237. I had lost 70 lbs quite a few years ago and kept it off for a few years, then my father passed away suddenly and I gained 80 lbs. back. 18 months later my sole remaining grandparent passed away unexpectedly, and I gained another 30 lbs. I have tried to lose…
