Paranormal Activity. I don't like movies that involve stuff like that but my ex thought it would be a good 'experience'. He regretted it after being woken up every time I needed to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night for the next few months...

So basically you're going to punish yourself for eating a pizza by depriving yourself of nutrients? Doesn't seem like a good plan to me. I would just eat as normal and drink loads and loads of water. We all have those days when we don't eat perfectly but that's ok. No need to punish yourself.

I would actually say your protein is too low. The numbers MFP give are very very low. If you are working out and strength training I would go for higher protein as it helps your muscles to recover. That is just my opinion though so do whatever works for you. However what everyone else has said is right. 8lbs in a month is…

You can't spot reduce. The fat will come off wherever it wants. Just keep doing what you're doing make sure you're doing some strength training along with cardio and eating a well balanced diet. Sorry, there's no magic to it.

I'm with you on the food. I have to make a conscious effort not to call it a reward and make sure whatever I have fits in my calories. Doesn't always work but the more I try the better I'll get. As for alternatives: clothes, shoes, jewellery, bags. Or if you're short of cash can you fit in some downtime? Like say, an…

Try blogilates.com. There is tons of workout videos all for free and loads for abs and butt.

Your diet isn't that bad to be honest but I don't think you're eating enough. I would up your cals to at least 1500 because that's why you don't have any energy. You don't have that much to lose so you don't need a huge deficit like you have now. Set your goals to lose 1/2lb a week which is much more attainable with your…

Why did you stop exercising when you hurt your hand? There are plenty of things you can do without it. You just need to ease back in to it. Go for walks, do whatever it is you loved to do before. Ask yourself why you started in the first place and just start again. The other poster is right. Just do it.

We need more information. Height, weight, what you eat, what exercise you do etc.
-
If you've gained it overnight then its likely just water weight. Drink lots and lots of water and it should go away. The reason everyone thought you were starving yourself was because you just said you were eating 1000 cals. You didn't explain that it was your net after exercise. I would suggest that you don't weigh…

It's hard to say without a bit more information. How tall are you, how much do you weigh, what's your goal weight, what are you eating? Oh and why are you only eating 1000 calories? That's not nearly enough especially if you're exercising regularly.

What a load of bull! This has annoyed me. What about the gymnasts who work on the bars? The article has conveniently not mentioned them. With enough training I'm sure anyone can do it. It's definitely my goal to be able to do one. Someday...

Definitely add some strength training in! Cardio is good in it's place but combine it with strength training 3-4 times a week will be much better. If you're not sure of what to do then look around youtube. There's loads of free videos of exercises. I personally use blogilates. It's pilates and cardio and strength training…

^^This^^. Not everyone wants to be part of the community they just want to use the tools available. You can be serious about weight loss without broadcasting it to the world.

You don't have to trade in running if you really love it but maybe try adding something else in aswell. Do you do any strength training? If not then maybe put some in 2-3 times a week. Or see if your gym has any fitness classes you might enjoy. As others have said while you will still burn calories by doing it your body…

Some people find that cutting carbs and grains can help reduce bloating. It might be something else but there's nothing wrong with experimenting to see if that's the issue. Play around with some stuff and see if there's something you're intolerant too. It could help :-)

I'm not a huge meat eater myself but there's ways around it. Try eating cottage cheese, eggs and get a good greek yoghurt with a high protein content. I find that total is the best. And there's nothing wrong with protein powders to bump it up too. You can mix it with water, milk or blend it in with a smoothie. Or blend it…

If you're strength training then you need a lot of protein to help fuel and repair your muscles. Ignore mfp's guidelines. I try to aim between 100 and 150g a day. As the other poster said it will also help with hunger. The more protein you have the less hungry you are, therefore less snacking. Protein is goooood!

As others have said, if it's not a designated quiet car then yeah you can ask, if it's bothering you that much but they don't have to comply and may view you as rude. I would. 2 people in a public place having a conversation is not being rude. It's called living life. I regularly get an early train so I do know what you're…

^^^ This. 7 years was enough. People think that just because you're in customer service that you're beneath them. I always make a point of being polite and saying please and thank you. It only takes a few seconds and costs you nothing. If I do have to complain (and if I get bad service then I will), I try not to be rude or…

I strongly suggest you read this article. I've just read it and it's scary but makes sooo much sense. Give it a try, we need to stop focusing on a number on a scale. http://www.niashanks.com/2012/07/stop-weighing-on-the-scale-for-weight-loss/

You need to try it for longer than a week. It will take at least 2 for your body to get used to the new regime and around 4 for you to see proper results. 30g carbs a day is really low but if you think you can do it then go for it. I have to ask though, are you doing any exercising? Cardio, strength training even just…

Have you tried not having it? If you're having to force it down then maybe you don't actually need it. Maybe try eating later and see what happens.

This is crap. Starvation mode takes a lot longer than 8 hours to kick in. There is no kick start to your metabolism. Some people prefer to eat within an hour of waking up, some people don't. There are no benefits either way except psychological ones.

Hey, as everyone else has said it sounds like the stress is getting to you. I had the same problem myself due to life circumstances etc and I've found that yoga and meditation really help me to clear my head. I know meditation isn't for everyone but worth a try maybe? I've been doing kundalini yoga for a little while now…

Know that there is nothing wrong with feeling sorry for yourself. We all do it (especially during TOM!) and we all have our bad days but just don't let it define you or ruin your progress so far. 10lbs is awesome so remember that! Have your bad days where you don't move and you whine about everything but wake up the next…

Yeah it is hard. If it was easy then everyone would do it. Very simply, you have to decide how much you want it. Do you want to lose weight, get stronger and be fitter? Or are you happy the way you are? If you're honestly happy the way you are then yeah, you're done. If you're not (and ask yourself honestly, don't lie)…

It could be a lot of things as people have suggested but I would still get it checked by a dr especially if they're going into your armpits because your breast tissue does go that far. Better safe than sorry!

I was doing 16/8 and I really enjoyed it. It definitely helped me get my hunger cravings under control. Like you the first couple of weeks was tough getting used to it all but I did and I loved it. Unfortunately I'm back at school now and my schedule is crazy so it's a bit all over the place. I'm trying to get it back in…

This is awesome. Partly because I was just watching Ghostbusters last night (coincidence??) and partly because of the awesome writing. You have a talent man! It's all also completely true. A little of what you love will take you a long way, but first you've gotta recognise that. Well done for your amazing control and self…
