  • Sounds good to me! Let's do it!
  • I also did ww here and there for the last 3 years. The price was getting to me, but I loved going to meetings and being held accountable for my gains/ losses. I need to get better at tracking here and weighing foods, but I love the support and all the feedback.
  • Congrats on the baby!
  • Hi all, I'm Tatiana, I live in Phoenix. I want to lose about 30 lbs. I'm 5'5", currently at 165. I'm 31 and my husband and I are trying for our first baby! So I want to be in the best shape possible.
  • I did ok, I didn't pile my plate too high, but I compensated with wine
  • Hi all, feel free to add me! I'm 5'5" currently at 165, want to be at 135 ish.
  • Me too! 5'5", currently 165 ish, want to be at 135 ish. Add me! I'm trying to get back on track.
  • I need the accountability too! I've been on Mfp for a while on and off, but I am currently at my heaviest. Need to lose 15 lbs. I'm watching my diet, but it's not the best. I'm doing about 1500 cal per day. Trying to get to the gym at least 3 times per week. Feel free to add!
  • Don't bring yourself down. This is not an easy road. You need motivation and accountability. Someone to say, "hey, don't eat that!". I need it too. I need someone to "how come you didn't work out today?" Or "that starbucks wasn't really necessary, but I'm sure you will do better next time". Feel free to add me.
  • I did ww for about 2 months last year. The meetings were useful, as well as the accountability of it. If I lost weight, it was recognized. If I gained, I wasn't. It is really the fact that someone is seeing and responding to my weight gain or loss that made a difference for me. I quit because it wasn't helping me do any…
  • Good luck in school! I gained about 20 lbs when I was in nursing school. One of my biggest issues was snacking while studying. My friend told me that she snacked on frozen peas instead of unhealthy options, and it worked for me. Take a step back and see where you're eating excess calories and work on a fix.
  • It might be worth talking with your doc about medication possibilities. Metformin has worked well for some people I know. Diet is only one part of the equation.
  • My co-workers and I did it. Except no one lasted longer than 3 days. It gets boring and gross very quickly. And then you end up with a pantry filled with stuff that you never want to eat again. But, I have to say, we each lost 1-2 lbs while we were on it. However, gained it all back in no time.
  • Yes please! My favorite is fruit! But make sure you cover it so the bugs don't get to it. I wanted to go to the pool today, since it is my day off, but it's raining. Of course.
  • Kindel dear, just because you can eat those extra calories, doesn't mean you should be eating a cheeseburger or an extra candy bar. Sure, indulge yourself, but make sure you do it in moderation. Eating a healthy meal, with high protein and carbs before a workout is much better than a cheeseburger or candy bar.
  • Totally needed this today! I'm trying to post a picture for the first time, so be patient with me.
  • I just got my fitbit flex a few days ago. I wear it on my wrist all the time, including when I'm sleeping. It tracks my steps and my sleep. It motivates me to move more, which is what I am really looking for.
  • My schedule changes every week. As a nurse, I work long hours, and it changes weekly. Depending on the week, I can't get to the gym 3 days a week. So I try to do cardio and lifts all on the same day, and then have other days as work/rest days.
  • Hey Ladies! I did day 1 today, and I am exhausted! I forgot to take my log with me, so I just logged it on MFP since I have it on my iPod. I would appreciate any tips or hints. Also, I would love to get and give support, so feel free to add me!
  • Feel free to add me! I'm 27, looking to lose about 15 lbs. Trying to be active everyday. My current goal is to log on for 30 days in a row.
  • Hi everyone! My name is Tatiana, I have about 15 lbs to lose. I got married 1.5 yrs ago and lost weight for that no problem, but gained it all back and can't get rid of it! Three of my best friends are getting married this summer, and I want to look good for it. My goal is to lose weight, and get toned in the process.…
  • I second the Miralax and increasing your fluid intake. The miralax works by pulling more fluid into the stool, so making sure there is fluid there will help make it work. Also, the Miralax will help "retrain" your colon, so you can use if for just a short while and wean off of it when you are back to being regular.
  • Feel free to add me! I feel the same way!
  • I think you are trying to set an impossible goal for yourself. You already look great! Love the Canada shorts, btw. Like mentioned before, you might want to concentrate on weight training, like in Staci's story. Great way to tone without becoming anorexic. Also, it looks like you have hips, and she does not. I'm not sure…
  • I too have a hard time staying on track on the weekends, and I appreciate all these tips. I work hard on the weekdays to stay on track, and cut myself a little lack on the weekends. This sometimes leads to falling off the wagon. So thanks for the tips.
  • Hi there, I'm 27 and have another 15-ish pounds to lose. Could use some support, I keep falling off the wagon and getting back on. Feel free to add me!
