I was literally coming on here to ask the same thing. I would give up a meal to get my coffee and creamer. Yes I do that’s a bad thing to do. I really think the only solution to this is to wean myself off. As it is now getting warmer that was the time

I did calorie counting and exercise without weighing food or being exact about calories in my early thirties and the weight all fell off in six months. Now, 3 kids and ten years later and I can do it but I have to really pay attention and be extra accurate and one mess up means no weight loss that week.

Homemade chili and a Greek yogurt

hi! I'm 42, and have 50-60 to loose. I lost 30 something last year, but I gained all but 20 back due to a Disney world trip, business travel and the holidays. I know I can do it.. one day at a time. 20 lbs is nothing to sneeze out.. but hoping I get past the 6 month hump... I always seem to stall out in July or so.

staying in my calories logging even when I don't

I know people say it doesn't matter, but I did this when I was about 30, and I had no issues.. I tracked calories, and exercised, and without being overly careful, the weight just fell off. now, 12 years and 3 kids later, and it feels like if I even put an extra morsel in my mouth, I don't loose that week. I have lost…

Surprise--- it's within 50 calories of what MFP tells me :)

Get EVERYTHING ready the night before.. Gym clothes laid out, real clothes packed in the bag, lunch in a bag in the fridge, whatever you do for breakfast as laid out as possible.... if you do all this, you can be successful. When I don't do that, I use it as an excuse not to get out of bed... like 'I overslept by 5…

Seeing a picture of me (the one in my profile, but my full body) next to my sister, and realizing just how bad I had let myself get. Although, I have tried a few times... my motivation this time is higher b/c my BF has lost about 80 lbs and she looks incredible!

It's not working... !0 years ago I lost 45 lbs just by tracking calories and exercising.. I wasn't that exact about it all, but in just 6 months I was near my high school weight, and happy with it. Then I put back like 10 lbs, and then I had 3 kids in 4 years... and then I tried when I was done nursing.. try 1 failed. Try…

I wish I knew how much easier it was when I was younger. (I lost 45 lbs about 10 years ago...easily. Three kids and 10 years later and it's MUCH harder. I track closer and do way more exercise and loose much slower).
-
25 this year (3rd times a charm right?) I had lost 11 net over the past two years.. but i would loose, gain, loose, gain... So 36 over all. About 50 to go I think

I think it was hard for 2 reasons for me at first 1) I tended to 'hold" calories for later in the day b/c I was scared I'd be hungry. But if I had 1000 calories left on the day, I found I wasn't that hungry for dinner 2) If I have 200-300 calories left at the end of the day, I really struggle with what to eat.. so I tend…

I love how it says "recommended EXERCISE minutes...". haha

I personally don't see what's wrong with using it for maintenance once you are done. Logging your food is not an eating disorder. If you're eating at maintenance and you need to track that, you're doing something healthy. (and yeah, being obsessive is bad, as it is with anything)

A picture I saw of myself.. the one in my profile picture. It's me at a camp I worked at as a teen. I'm with my sister who is average/small. Seeing how huge I was next to her really did it for me. I'm inspired by my kids, my BFF who has lost 80 something lbs, and how good I feel when I do this right.

I work out at 5:30. Works for me. If I don't do it first thing it basically doesn't get done.

Homemade protein pancakes. I make a big batch over a weekend and freeze them I. Servin size containers and eat them. It's works cold or hot. (I eat egg white omelets too but I saw you said you didnt like eggs

Inspiration can come externally. (My BFF lost 73 lbs last year... She inspires me) but my motivation is from within.

I do move my feet once I notice the feeling Peddling backwards is a great idea.

I know it's not "magic" and ultimately it's just "calories" but coffee creamer. I wasn't officially measuring my coffee creamer just estimating. I now measure it and limit myself to 100 cal a day. (Wth some exceptions) That makes me limit my coffee intake. And I have increased my water. I've been losing 1 pound a week. The…

I used to fast good Friday through Easter too. (It's not a weigh loss thing it a religious thing). Anyway, I always found myself less hungry on sunday... I never over ate because over eating would make me sick after fasting In college I fasted one day a week (again for religious reasons) bIt never effected my weight.

Once a week... Sunday's, naked, after going to the bathroom. I weigh more often but only record weekly.
-
When I say it's hard I mean harder than before. About 12 years ago I lost 45 lbs just by doing 30 mins of tae Bo a few times a week and eating reasonably well. I didn't track on weekends and the weight basically fell of in 6 months. Now it's much harder. I work out 6 times a week and count every mouthful and I may loose a…

I always hear people say that you should measure food before cooking. But I honestly don't know how people do that. In less you're only cooking for yourself all the time it's impossible. I have a family of five. If I cook pasta I cook a pot of pasta and we all take some. I don't free measure my amounts and cook it on the…

Thanks! That one from Amazon looks perfect. I really wanted to make sure it tares. Much appreciated.

MFP will tell you you you are eating too few if you are under 1200. 800-1000 is really low. Esp if you are exercising on top of that.
-
I weigh a few times a week but I only record on Sundays first thing in the morning after going to the bathroom, naked.

Yes my doctor knows what I weigh and has offered suggestions. I actually would leave a doctor who didn't weigh me or at least ask my weight. When they write prescriptions and such knowing your weigh is critical in some cases. Plus as others have said weight can be a symptom or can be a factor in other diseases. If your…
