All depends on your daily calorie goal.. work from there. if it's low stick to low calorie foods. nothing for the past few weekends i've had alchohol, mcdonalds and far more food than usual! still only gained 1lb, which has now come off :)

I'm on 1430 a day, I eat low carlorie food thast filling e.g pasta, rice, bananas etc. etc. I know its carbs but oh well :) so far i've lost 9lb since july, my weight loss is slow because i dont' have alot to lose and i find it easier to manintain it :) But slow and steady wins the race :)

I cant even do a push up! haha sit ups are good, but only when done correctly. done incorrectly can cause back and neck problems. but i'm no expert :) Do exercise that is appealing to you :) I do dancing games for the xbox kinect and go running when its nice :) it does the trick, good luck :)

Going on holiday will generally make you put weight on, the way i see it is if you come back an lose weight then it wasnt a great holiday ;) aha. Looking at how much you have to lose then it will be a little harder to loose :)

Well done with only a 4lb weight gain! I know how you feel though with feeling sluggish! my body felt like it was rejecting the fatty foods i was eating while i was away! Good luck with your weight loss too! youve done so well!

i was expecting a weight gain to be honest, but i didnt expect it to be only 3lbs, i was expecting 7lbs lol considering the amount i ate and drank! thanks for advice :)

This is true, my auntie is the head sister at my local childrens hospital and she says BMI can be a load of rubbish! You don't look over weight, looks more like muscle :)

I was in the same boat, i did exercise for a full week and hour a day, and got on the scales and nothing!, the day after i had lost 2lbs! So dont give up! saying that i have had a bad weekend celebrating birthdays, with loads of food and alcohol flowing! the 2lbs went back on :( but im back on track today :D

You never see changes in yourself straight away because your used to seeing yourself everyday, but other people notice, as the comments above show :)

I feel the same, i dont like plain water either! I use dilute fruit juice to add to it, add some ice and i'm sorted. I don't know who much this is true, but a cold drink aparently helps you burn calories because your body works to keep it warm lol but dont take my word for it :)

I dont know about the brand names, but digital scales are far better, but i would also take measurements using a measuring tape :) thats what keeps me motivated. after losing only 7lbs, ive lost: 1.5ins from my waist 1in from my hips That made a great difference to how well my clothes fit :)

I dont eat my calories back either, i just drink water and keep hydrated, if i do feel peckish i will snack on fruit and low fat yogurts, low fat chocolate etc. I'm not too worried though if i do go over, i just make up for it the next day :)

Can't you look online for how many calories it uses, then come with an average? I supose its better to under estimate the calories you burn, so your less likely to over eat. thats what i do anyway
