You are entitled you eat what you want, i have mcDonalds nearly every week as a treat, i still log it and lose weight :) its all about moderation. Don't look at it as dieting, more like a lifestyle choice. Yes eat healthy, but if you fancy having a chocolate bar or chips have them, just not everyday for breakfast, lunch…

good going! All i can say is how the hell do you survive off meal replacement shakes?? haha They just dont work for me, i found myself having one and a meal too!!! But i supose everyone is different :)

Good work! i'm half way too :)
-
Dont beat yourself up over it, its good that your making the effort to exercise, unlike me ;) haha Its only one day out of 365 :)
-
trying to pull of the whole "girl next door look" haha

Everyone is entitled to a "bad" day, dont beat yourself up about it. Its not like you'll put on a stone from it :) only if you eat it everyday :) good luck :)

Once a week on a saturday :) weighing youself everyday will send you mad!

Hi Lisa This app is by far the best way to lose weight :) For the 50 days i have been using it, i've lost 7lbs, losing a pound a week. I very rarely excerise, i just eat low calorie foods, but i also eat what i want e.g Mcdonalds, crisps, chocolate. Only in moderation though and on the weekends :) As long as you have a…

drinking water and chewing gum :) although sometime gum does make you more hungry. tricks your stomach into thinking your eating, or something like that lol

I realised that i didnt know when i was full. I would have a sneaky couple of biscuits after having a big meal and yougurt. Cutting out certain things like this has made a big difference. I now also eat alot slower, so my food had time to digest. I still eat what i want, chocolate, biscuits, crips etc. Just the lower…

Realmaverick- I would try going for a 1lb a week, rather than a quick fix, as the weight i more likely to creep on Elizabethroad - I was making the point that men should be eating for calories than women, obviously you have to take into consideration size and activity level. Next time dont be as keen to jump down my throat

Thats because your body has more muscle than fat :) i wouldnt worry about the scales, if your losing inches that is the main thing :)
-
oh so sorry for quoting something on the WEIGHT WATCHERS WEBSITE! go complain to them
-
Just keep doing what your doing :) you've lost a lot already :) stick to your daily calorie allowance and dont worry if you go over even by 100 kcals. By drink water is keeping you hydrated making you feel less hungry, yes there is the problem of water retention, but that soon goes :) Keep going :) good luck :)
-
iris8pie - you would be right here in terms of muscle gain. Take measuements with a tape measure, rather than scales. Scales arent very accurate. Seeing the inches disappearing on the tape measure made me happier than the scales :)
-
mbryanlpc - Well there you go :) keep well hydrated, water does make you feel full :) Have fun :)
-
SOUNDS LIKE YOU STARVING YOURSELF! You do realise when you introduce normal meals to your diet, the weight will creep back on quicker than you think. DONT GO FOR A QUICK FIX!, Make it apart of you lifestyle :)
-
Depends where your going :) swimming, bkie riding if it's nice. Or on the hand, forget about calorie counting, enjoy your holiday and get back on it went you get back :) I did this and the 4lbs i put on soon come off plus more :) Oh and eat smaller portions and eat slower so your food has time to digest :)

weight watchers double chocolate cookies - 78 kcals for 2! :) this is how i get my chocolate fix :)
-
muscle is much more dense than fat, so that, by volume, it seems to weigh more.
-
PEOPLE STOP WEIGHING YOURSELF EVERYDAY! It's obvious you'll weigh different everyday/hour , depending on food and water intake!! SCALES AREN'T ACCURATE ANYWAY! - USE A MEASURING TAPE :)
-
Yes it is, depending what you have eaten that day, plus it could be water weight, i have experienced this. Plus what time of day did you weigh yourself? It's best if you weigh yourself first thing in the morning, before eating :) Don't get too hung up over the number on the scales, remember muscle weighs more than fat (…
-
realmaverick- your calorie intake is far too low! how are you surviving on 1240 calories a day? I struggle with my calorie intake which is 1440 Remember men are supposed to have 2500 calories, so even if you eat 2000 a day and have a deficit of that every week, you'll lose weight

Birth control doesnt make me stop losing weight. My doctor says its a myth, usually just water weight anway. Howeve it probally does vary from person to person

I haven't tried a vibration pate, but I have an ab tek toning belt. Which works really well with a mixture of cardio and 50 sit ups 3 days a week & obviously sticking to MFP ;) I would love to try a vibration plate!! a few friends have used them, some have noticed a difference. I expect you would have to use it everyday…
-
I started MFP 35 days ago today, lost 5lb up to now ( lost a pound every week :) ) another 9lb to go for my goal weight :)
