i work at a law firm and sit a lot. no magic solution, i just credit my willpower with staying on track. its very hard though! I'm lucky that i live so close to work so i walk my dog at lunch for about 20 mins. Not a lot but its something! I also said no to having a desk scanner at work so it forces me to get up and move!

i did it last year and it was really awesome.

your carb goal looks really high?
-
get out of retail! my stable office job is so good for healthy eating!
-
i just got a small instant pot and it makes perfect boiled eggs in 5 mins. high recommend
-
2 boiled eggs, apple with peanut butter, cheese string
-
ahs !!

i recommend switching it up every once in a while so your body doesn't get used to your routine. plan a hike, go on a horseback ride, bike ride, trampoline park, just something new to challenge your body with new movement :)

in my experience it takes about 20 lbs of weight loss before people notice.
-
ever heard of skinny b ? I mix that with yogurt and bananas for no carb (gluten free) breakfast
-
handful of almonds, half apple, and slices of cheese (full fat! organic)
-
Night time hiking! If available, I know it is here in Vancouver. Window shopping at a mall or something is good too, hours of walking!
-
British Columbia! west coast is the best coast
-
Also switching up exercises is great. Instead of your usual walk, go for a bike ride, or a jog, or climb some stairs, try a fitness class, etc.

drink tons of water, kombucha, herbal tea! they are great for detoxing and shedding the water retention weight
-
lots!
-
eating more veggies and drinking lots of water, tea
-
smaller portions
-
oh good tip kshama2001 - I didn't know that
-
is this a joke?

I agree with the sodium at subway! when I was eating there regularly, even just a veggie sandwich I was gaining weight. it was probably water weight though too, the bread is crazy with sodium which makes me plump!
-
calories burned on a machine like a treadmill are really not very accurate
-
kombucha! so good and 'cleansing' ;)
-
i do the same. my 'cheat day' is Friday where I can eat whatever I want but some morphs into a cheat weekend. I find it better if I just have cheat dinner/night on Friday then plan a hike on Saturday or something to get my mind back into healthy mode !
-
i think the number of calories on treadmills, etc. grossly miscalculate the calories you burn. I think it's a lot less than it says. also make sure you are weight training too!
-
i never stop being hungry I just learned to ignore it!
-
dark and mysterious on the outside, sentimental on the inside
-
sounds like you want to be skinny, not healthy
-
I really love the couch to 5k app ! I'm on week 7 and it is really awesome, gradually gets you to run more and more, I'm doing 25 minutes of jogging - NEVER though I would be able to do that!
-
once a week on Fridays! it's not really a cheat day though it's a cheat item on that day so maybe a can of coke or a chocolate bar or something
