  • TurboFire is great! Give yourself a week or two to get used to the moves - they are very much the same once you learn them and then when you have them down you can really get into it. Massive calorie burner - you will sweat your rear off - and have fun with it too. It also has the best music of any other workout DVD I have…
  • I just started P90X this week! Feel free to add me as a friend/buddy!
  • If you have iTunes you can search for workout mixes - I like the ones from Shape Magazine!
  • Feel free to add me!!! :D
  • I've discovered most people who comment are just jealous because they are not in control of their diets/health. I have a coworker who has gotten very rude to me - only to recently find out she questioned other coworkers of mine about how I lost the weight so fast. I started about a month after she did - now I've just about…
  • I get a lot from Aldi (my local is pretty decent - sometimes they are hit or miss on produce - I buy what looks good & eat according to that). I supplement from Publix (for stuff Aldi doesn't have) and Sams Club (for fish/chicken)
  • I use them on my workout days (don't bother on a rest day). On days I lift I take them after lifting before Cardio - on Cardio only days I take them after cardio
  • Slim in 6 will do nothing for your after finishing TF. I would try doing a combo of TF (for your cardio) and P90X for your weights! I never tried 10 min trainer, so I don't know what it's about. I'm starting P90X myself soon and right now finishing a combo of TF and ChaleanExtreme (which would have been my other suggestion)
  • Wow - you look great! Way to go! I'm planning to start P90X in about a month! Can't wait!
  • Oh this happened to me last year - I went through months of being sick. I've always been dairy intolerant, but this took it to a new level. I went through months of testing & finally a colonoscopy to determine I had an unusual form of colitis. Even after that it took a few months to get on meds that worked! You might want…
  • I can wiggle my ears. I accidentally took my son to a nude beach this summer (we didn't know - no signs!)
  • The key is to get over it & move on - it happens. I did it about a week ago (no chocolate, but plenty of other bad stuff) and the next day was up 5 lbs - three days later I was down 6 lbs. Try to figure out what triggers you and find other ways to cope. No use in giving up totally over one bad day
  • My one cat won't eat any people food. The other one loves biscuits and Reddi whip from the can (thanks to my son)
  • I'm 5'3" - a little taller than some here, but still short!!! I hover right between a small - medium size frame and currently weight 119 (used to way up in the 270s - lost a lot). I'd ultimately like to be around 115. No matter what I do I can't seem to get my waist size where it should be. It just stays around 30-31" even…
  • Food wise - Food scale salad spinner a GOOD blender Protein powder/bars Infusion or "stick" blender (great for soups and sauces) Food processor or madoline (for cutting up veggies) Fitness wise - A good foam mat/matting Weights or kettlebells Resistance bands weight training gloves workout clothes workout DVDs/programs…
  • I agree to get some protein in - I have a protein shake daily for breakfast - this works for me (I don't care for eggs or oatmeal, but those are both good options too). Protein will help you stay full longer. If you have oatmeal try adding in some protein powder to it, eggs are protein & you can bulk them up with veggies.
  • Ok I said "bulk" up - which I meant build muscle. And yes, I have "tone" in my arms - meaning shape - you can see the muscle - I want to improve on that.
  • I guess I'm confused - I didn't say anything about "bulky" vs. toned - I want to look lean and build muscle....???
  • TurboFire!!!
  • I've had it since i was a kid! Been on meds most of my life - it's a struggle, but it can be done! I've lost 150 lbs by eating clean and lots of exercise. Feel free to add me!
  • I've donated mine to the local shelter. Some of my "work" scrubs I passed on to coworkers
  • I work for a Dermatologist and we remove stuff from people all the time. You will be trading that for a scar about the size of the mole (and it depends on how they remove it) Some things have to be "punched" out and stitched up, while other things can be "shaved" off. There's always a risk that it will scar bad or come…
  • CLE is quite different from TF - it's much more focused on weights than the cardio. And the cardio workouts are different. There's a little kickboxing/TF-esque in there, but it's more simple moves and intervals. HTH!
  • Loving TF! I'm doing it with the Chalene Extreme hybrid. Feel free to add me (but please don't try to "coach" me)
  • I'm loving TurboFire! Yes, I used to sell BB, but dont' know - i've used many other workouts too, so I'm not biased - there are some I don't like. I find it fun - I am not coordinated in the least & picked up on the moves after a few workouts. You'll love it! Chalene is a lot of fun and very motivating - sometimes I little…
  • I really like ChaLEAN extreme - but I find I get better results with dumbbells than the bands. I have P90x, but I haven't done it yet - that's next on my rotation, so I can't compare them, But I've gotten awesome upper arm/shoulder definitely from CLE!!!
  • "...because she was getting more and more anorexic" - My ex husband's response when I took him to court for a divorce and restraining order after he physically assaulted me. Yah - good excuse right? I'm also sick of the "how'd you do it" "don't loose any more", etc.
  • Welcome! I'm here daily (not usually on the message boards though) and love lots of friends so feel free to add me!!! I'm doing beachbody workouts (am not a coach, not looking to sell) and right now and doing TurboFire and Chalean Extreme
  • Feel free to add me anyone!!! I've been lifting weights for over a year now - LOVE it! The more friends the better! :D
  • I started out in the upper 200's and when I was larger it took about every 20 lbs to loose a size. As you get smaller it's every 10, then every 5 - at least for me it was. Oh, and I am 5'3". RIght now I'm hoovering between 130-135 on any given day and my size 8s are big - I have some 6s that fit too - I havent' shopped in…
