I am a vegan...and I completely agree with your statement about chemically altered processed foods....I dont understand why some vegans mimic meat dishes with tofu and what not. I thought the point was not to eat any animal product? so why want it to taste like an animal? I tend to go raw veggies mostly for this reason.

I am a vegan, but thats just because I really dont like the taste of it. It's really heavy on my stomach, dairy as well. I have seen a noticeable drop in my weight though...as well as my endurance when I exercise, I have a ton more energy since I stopped eating it!

I run a facebook dedicated to vegan/vegetarian dishes that are low in fat and full of fiber. My page has recipes and pictures of what the food looks like. There are tons of ways to make vegetables seem appetizing, I promise! https://www.facebook.com/VeggieKidAmanda

I cut all dairy out of my diet a little over a month ago...and so far it has helped me lose 6 lbs. I really like Veggie Cheese, and it comes in all flavors. I love it.

it is...but i suggest that you olive oil the foreman so that it doesnt stick...it has a bad rep for burning the outside before cooking the inside...to be on the safe side I would just bake it.

I try to drink some water first and then take my vitamins, if im still hungry after that I go for an orange or a pear.
-
hey! I really like vegetable fajitas without the tortilla. that way I can add guacamole or green sauce to it and I still get full.
-
if I feel like i am going to get hungry, or like the food isnt going to be filling enough I just add a ton of greens to my plate and vegetables. They are low in calories - high in vitamins and etc etc. Especially dense vegetables like brussel sprouts are really good to eat because they take up more space in your stomach.…

omg now I have to eat this! At least just to get the health benefits, I myself am not a fan of it ...I hate it actually. But hey :) if its benefiting me why not.
-
stay away from the ice tea thats not brewed fresh! Liquid calories suck! Vegetarian fajitas are pretty good by themselves, so long as you dont eat the tortilla with it.

Thanks for your support, I should have mentioned earlier that I am an animal rights activist, so going vegan would make sense for me. I just didnt think to add it when I made my post. I will deff and try hit my protein quota. I dont want to look ill.

Im not really putting myself on a restrictive diet, I am just changing my lifestyle, again. haha. Its only restrictive if its a challenge and you dont enjoy it.

I try very hard to not use animal products. I know the difference between the diet and lifestyle. I tend to go organic as much as I can as well. Like I said earlier, I was used to be a vegetarian for many years, still a member of peta and a volunteer for the SPCA. I love animals. Thus why I said earlier I was wondering if…
