Since today is St. Patrick's day I thought I would try on these wonderful dark green pants that I had in the back of the closet. Guess what - thats right - they fit! I haven't been able to wear them in over 3 years and then only for a short while before I gained a bunch of weight! Doing a happy dance

I have sizes ranging from 10-20. However, all the 18-20 clothes are in a bag to be given to a charity. I am comfortably in a 16 and can squeeze into a couple 14s. So excited to be clearing out my closet!

Good Morning! Three things I like about myself 1. My sense of humor 2. Love of reading 3. That I can totally rock 4" heels!

After the baby has her breakfast we are going to take one or more of the dogs and go for a walk. Really - we are just going to scout the area for potential Zombie Safe Houses!

I am getting back on track with my exercise and only had a few poor choices with food and it showed on the scale. I am down 1.8 lbs. and it feels gooood! I am so close to the 180s! The dedication of everyone is so inspiring! My goals for the week is to keep drinking the water, continue the exercise in the mornings, and…

Amazing the dedication we have here - it is hard to believe that we are almost half way through this challenge! I am down 1.8 lbs this week. So happy to see some positive movement!

OMG - I think I just found my favorite thread! I recently read pride and prejudice and zombies and a handful of other books about Zombies! I relatively new to the Zombie world. One of my all time favorite movies is Zombieland. A couple of my favorite rules: 1. Cardio 2. The Double Tap 20 It’s a marathon, not a sprint,…

One thing I do and I know a lot of others do is research potential places to eat - many have the nutritional values online. If I know what I am going to order I can take that into account during the day - for instance if we are going to a place with high sodium I make sure to drink lots of water during the day - after the…

Like Aggie - I get everything ready to go in the morning. For me I set my alarm 30 minutes earlier than I need to get up so - gives me time to become human. Good luck!
-
I have been thinking about this all morning - I am afraid that I am going to fail to complete my goal - that I won't make it to my goal weight! I can't even picture myself there.
-
It has been a pleasure to join you on this journey - you have made such amazing strides! Keep it up - we can do this! :flowerforyou:

@ leandread & Steph - It wasn't C25K (my husband, oldest daughter, and the baby joined me) - but we did get outside and walk for an hour. We live off dirt roads with lots of hills so it was a workout!
-
Steph! I am gonna do it! We are not expecting rain until Monday. But I do have a treadmill! I downloaded an app on my iPhone w/audio to help. I'll let you know how it goes! I am excited & scared all at the same time.

Thanks for the pump up earlier - that arthritis thing sucks! However, I too want to start C25K - keep threatening to do it, but it comes down to I am too scared to let anyone see me run. So how about you and I both do this? :flowerforyou:
-
Thanks! I love your progress reports!
-
Great job! :flowerforyou:

Good Morning All! It has been a rough couple of weeks with my arthritis kicking in - I am sure stress is making it worse! Between the pain and meds (which make me have the munchies) I have not been able to exercise as hard as I would like. Tried to weigh in this morning and got a 20lb spread from the evil scale  !…

Well - feeling so much better now only mild pain from the RA. I slept in this morning which was great, but that means exercise tonight! leandread - Yoga has really helped I am amazed! Steph_135 - I am going to check into those. I only take the meds when the pain is overwhelming. Most of the time I just deal with it - so…

So my RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis) kicked in bad this weekend and I am still recovering - feels like somebody took a bat to my knee and hip! However, I am not going to let that slow me down! My Dr. had said that exercise in moderation is good for it! So back on track this morning! A surprising thing for me is that I have…

Hi All! :flowerforyou: Well down .2 lbs - a little, but I will take it! For this week: Water! Watch the sodium - it can get out of control quick for me! Better food choices - I get to go grocery shopping today! Be more consistant with my exercises. Saturday - 2 classes (Turbo & a class called 24 SET) Sunday - Tae Bo Monday…

What an amazing article - thanks for sharing it.

So - I finally go around to checking my diary and my sodium was OUT OF CONTROL! :embarassed: I have been more aware of it for the last 4 days and took a couple days as rest days got on the scale and behold - 3 lbs gone! Whew - glad I am back on track! Thanks everyone for your support!
-
Thanks Krys! It took me a while to realize that there are some victories even if the scale didn't move. Appreciate the support here!
-
Thanks! Needed a bit of extra encouragement! Thank goodness I actually like water :drinker:

I don't think I am going to see a loss on the scale this week. Boo  However... the small victories - went to Yoga class last night and I can hold the positions with better form and longer. Additionally, I am more flexible now than I have been in years! Another small victory - I was doing bicep curls and looked down at…

1) 2-4 days a week for me - generally Mon- Wed and again on Friday 2) Like other said here - I too get bored easily so I tend to rotate it - right now I do 30DS and then a pilates video or I will pair it with 30-40 minutes of Tae Bo 3) Not so much weight loss, but more toned and a lot stronger 4) Listen to your body and…
