5ft here. I eat 800-1000 to lose. I don't generally eat excersise calories unless Im hungry, in which case I might have a small snack. I don't do much exercise though.

Same here. I have 12inches between hips and waist at any weight. I usually use my sewing machine to sew two darts in the back, and reinforce with hand stitching. I can't wear high waisted anything as I'm short waisted. I also have to take the waists in for skirts too.

Its pretty common, weight doesn't come off uniformly. I lose weight this way myself. In order to slim my hips and thighs i get really skinnyband bony on top. Just the way it is.

For an hourglass its the shoulders that balence the hips. The difference between an hourglass and a pear is the thighs. Hourglass tends to have slimmer thighs, even at a higher weight whilst pears have larger thighs from the knee up. Hope that helps.

Nothing wrong with weighing every day as long as you accept and understand fluctuations and dont get to obsessed with it. I dont see a loss every day. I get a loss every now and again. My weight tends to peak on Wednesdays and sundays for some reason and drop on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

In the uk its mandatory to show calories per 100g. I always weigh the item and then use the cal per gram entry on the database. I find it totally odd for a manufacturer to dictate my serving size lol!
