Yes, the ability to lift heavy is acquired over time, beginning with barbie weights and then progressing. You're normal! We all start somewhere. Just have some patience. I'm not a trainer but here's some advice that I once received: Start with barbie weights and do your curls, shoulder presses, triceps lying extensions,…

This is the game that kept me from starting Mass Effect 3 ;) I had been so excited for ME3 to come out but when it finally did, I just could NOT stop playing Kingdoms of Amalur until I beat it! Which took a long time since there were 2 download mission packages...I really liked it for the beauty of it mostly. Not the best…

This is what I buy too. I highly recommend it taste-wise and price-wise! (Especially for those on high fiber diets)

your bones are here to stay; don't worry about how much space they're taking up. just eat right and exercise and it'll work itself out

yeah, i would...i logged 2 lifesavers last week and felt like a maniac. :ohwell: but then I realized it's pointless to keep a food diary if you're not accurately recording.

Height: 5'5 SW: 116 CW: 107 GW: it had been 113...but lost more without knowing UGW: whatever - trying to even out fat/muscle ratio around my butt primarily (LIFT that puppy!)

i'm figuring out this forum thing...it's the same topics every week on rotation, right? (sometimes more than once a week actually...) such a time suck for me! :ohwell:

From my perspective, I think that maybe setting your goal for 110 is okay, but don't go any lower once you hit it! And if you reach something above 110 that is good for you, just stay put! I'm strugglin' down here in the 100s, seriously. I'm 5'5'' and I now weigh 107. I lost 9 lbs since I started weightlifting 3 months…

Funny that I ended up a Bat! The only tattoo on me is a group of bats...and I've always been obsessed with the whole batman franchise and ... vampire stuff....weird/cool!!

I log them all - but it's not all about just tracking the sugar and calories. I like to know how much fiber and protein I'm getting and some fruits give a lot more than others.

A trick to throw in there every now and then: when you crave chocolate or sweets, try brushing your teeth. For me, that lingering toothpaste flavor would ruin ''the pleasure."

I have dealt with this. I sometimes act a little too defensive honestly, but I always try to make an active effort to be positive and nice to these people. They just fear that you don't have a handle on yourself. But this is understandable! Think about how many people you have heard describe their own eating and body…

you are a kick-*kitten* chick! :)

(I'll volunteer to be the one to take this too seriously) I'm not a pretty girl and I'm not on your friends list, but that's okay...I am content with not replacing your porn ;)

I dont believe my elliptical calorie burn counter at all either. It says today I burned 818 calories in 45 minutes, but when I input the same info to MFP it says someone my size would burn 331 calories. Big difference!! In reality, I don't think either one is dead on, but I think MFP is closer. Personally, I can feel my…

I'd say only YOU know the real answer to your question. If you really do eat that many calories and are able to work out every day without feeling exhausted, and if you really don't have any medical problems - then you might be healthy even with a low weight. Just like some people might have a BMI over 25 and are…

I would use lightly active. You're not sedentary, but the walking is not much activity (for folks who are pretty fit)

Hey, I really love this concept. Thanks! I'll stop puny progressions of 5#s and maybe go up 10# increments.

I love the part about not standing for women's rights. Ha! A woman not standing for women's rights. That is so refreshing. Is this even a real post? Come on...gender inequality and nationalism? Trouble maker!
