I ran my first 5k Saturday, Got some hip pain during run so walked a bit too, but I walked fast. My time as 45:13, not great but 8th out of 25 for my age group. My hip is killing me now, I think I have bursitis. I finally find I like to run, but now this. I stretched after all the workouts but apparently not enough.

Great goal! it is such a satisfaction when you can get a project done. My plan this week is to go through shoes and straighten out my closet!!!

I plan my meals, I do not go to places I cannot eat or that will tempt me into eating stupidly. I also try not to eat when stressed out. you may want to log what you were doing when you grabbed that blizzard.

I have gained weight, just a couple of pounds but I think it is because I started running and building new muscle. diet is good, workouts are good and pants are a bit looser. I will just keep on keeping on and see what happens.

Last week I was on vacation at my husband's sons. We ran every day on a really nice trail, doing the C25K,, training. I get home and my weight is up, but that happens to me when I travel. Lemurcat12. I am so proud of you! I am trying to just get to 5k and look at you! I can't swim, so an open water swim would scare me to death.

I think I hit the bed hard last night, I felt like a rock. I am starting the C25K workout as I am doing a 5K in August. I found that running is not as scary as I thought. The 5k is a run/walk so I am sure I can do it. My goals this week are to: Wake up early and go for a run, drink water, do workouts, and log

I go workout, I know that the folks in my classes are also looking up to me. I have had a few fluctuations in my weight but no more that 2 pounds and usually because of water retention. Welcome to the group. I had my sleeve after much contemplation, and being a yo-yo dieter for years I finally bit the bullet and had it done April of 2014. The Doctor's goal based on success of sleeve and percentage of weight lost typically in a year was 195, I hit that in 6 months, he set a new goal of 180, I passed that,…
