  • I do a power class that you use weights on barbell and do a variety of movements for an all body workout. I also work with trainer using the TRX, kettlebells and other various workout items. Your SIL will probably be happy to assist you.

  • I am stuck at 147, it is a good weight for me, so for this challenge I want to tone up more. I want to get legs a bit smaller. I want to also start running, going to strive for the c25k. we shall see how that goes.
  • are you on blood pressure meds? If edema get worse please see a doctor. This is common after any surgery. Just keep an eye on it.

  • This!!! easiest surgery I have had. The support group I belong to there were some folks who had complications, but they were fine. If you experience anything that may be a complication, get to Doctor ASAP. Please note that the majority of folks have no complications.

  • It gets better, it takes time. I ate cottage cheese with some cinnamon, eggs were hard at first, I got 1 egg in. You will get better soon.

  • I agree, not everyone needs to know my business. Some people that do know minimize the eating healthy and the exercise I am doing. Without that I would not have lost as much as I have!

  • Best of luck to you! follow your Doctors advice and you will do fine. You have already made some big changes that will assist you in the process. my high weight was 267.5 and I am 5'7". I am now down to 147 14 months out from surgery. I work out and stay on the program my Doctor and Nutritionist gave me.
