I would try upping your calories by 100-200 every week or two until you find that you are gaining weight. The calculator on here is just an estimate that it gives and not everyone is the same so I would not go strictly off of that. As far as the "clean eating", it really doesn't matter how clean you eat. As long as you are…

To me this question is like asking would you rather bench or do presses. I do rows when I bench and pull/chin-ups when I press. Couldn't go without any of them. I guess if I only got to choose 1 I would pick rows because you can move your arm and body angle to target more of your back.

He never actually told OP to eat 5000 calories a day. He just said that is what he did and that it worked for him. If you want to construe that to mean go eat 5000 calories a day then thats on you.

No meds other than insulin. Only thing is a few years ago they told me that my thyroid was a little bit off but nothing to be worried about and it is something that is monitored when I get my bloodwork done.

Its not anything that is suddenly changing. Pretty constant throughout the year, so weather isn't part of it. My sodium may be a little bit on the high side but its not like I go crazy one day and normal or low the next. Again my macros and my diet are fairly consistent. I'm not thinking that it is some huge problem where…

He should be lifting heavy no matter what he is eating. Abs are a muscle just like all of the others and will grow when bulking then you cut to get them to show.

Male - 6'4" - 190 lbs - DL 335x6 which projects out to 389 I feel at a disadvantage because of my height. Is it wrong for me to feel better in a wider stance?

I wish that I could do what you are doing to gain all of this muscle. Building muscle takes a lot of hard work and a calorie surplus to add this size that you are talking about. If you are doing P90x but aren't in a surplus and aren't lifting heavy (I have done P90x before and it is hard but not the same) you will not get…

I am a diabetic but it is T1 and I keep it controlled fairly well. I just do what any other "bodybuilder" does when trying to bulk. Just eat "clean" and get enough protein. As long as I am getting enough calories and working out hard I am good. There might be some differences if she has T2 and needs to watch her diet to…

I would agree about the Powerblocks except that I got the basic version a couple years ago that only goes up to 50lbs and you aren't able to expand this set. Other than that it works great. So much easier to use than the similar Boflex dumbbells.

I have been at about 2900 and maintaining so i have recently gone up to 3100 and will probably end up going higher than that when all is said and done. I think that I was actually at 3300-3400 last winter.

I am also doing 5/3/1 and like to work in weighted chin-ups as one of my accessory lifts to OHP. Those and the rows are the only work I really get for my biceps unless I am feeling crazy that day and decide to do one set of curls. I don't see my biceps falling behind of any of my other muscles not focusing on them either.

I have seen no need to do this. I just add the weight on every cycle and go. I'm really not interested in all the numbers. Just that I'm able to I crease my weight and reps every cycle.
-
I am progressing but I am still getting 5-9 reps on my final sets. But it's all at weights that I've never tried before. I don't try for or care what my actual 1RM is. I just add the weight every cycle and it's a PR.

You said no country and now I am not interested. I love having country and "pop/rock country" in my playlists along with other "workout music".

I am ith Jerry. I follow the program and every 4 weeks I go up another 5-10 lbs and it becomes my new PR every time.

exactly what i was saying

I take a caffeine pill with my creatine and beta alanine(stuff that makes you tingle but has no requirement to be take before a workout) before I lift and usually eat an apple or a banana. I used to take C4, but was told that the main thing to help your pre is the caffeine so I just take that alone and it is really cheap…

I don't think that this is your problem either. I've been T1 for 17 years and I rarely ever sweat. Nothing ever dripping from my face, maybe a little down my back when it is hot out AND I am doing some activity, I almost feel like I don't need to shower after I'm done lifting, but I can tell from my pictures and my weights…

I am 6'3" and 188 lbs. I think that I have been hanging around there for about the past 2 months or so. I really want to go on a cut and see how ripped I can get but at the same time I want to bulk to get bigger. So since on 5/3/1 I am still consistently adding weights, I will continue to maintain my weight throughout the…

Well I didn't even realize that this was a rest day.
