  • That is awesome! So inspiring!! Keep up the good work!
  • I'm sure most, if not all of this was water retention, but just since I have been back on the cut (this is my fourth day), the scale has gone down a couple of pounds. I realize this might not be actual fat loss, but just to know that the bloating is going away feels good!
  • I decided to just do one week. Got back to my cut yesterday. Already feeling less bloated! Turns out I had miscalculated my calories in the Scooby Calculator somehow so I was eating above my true TDEE that whole week :/ So, I am really anxious to see some changes now that I'm back at cut! It was a nice little break while…
  • This is awesome. And you are such an inspiration to those who aren't losing much yet or haven't seen many changes. Keep at it!

  • This is great news. I don't know how much longer I could go eating at TDEE. I think one week is the perfect amount of time based on what you all have said. I am ready to be back on the cut already!! lol Thanks!
  • Wow! You can see a big difference, especially in the side view! You should be so proud of how far you have come! It is so nice to see others doing EM2WL and having such great success. I hope I can post my own success pictures soon as well! Thanks for being such an inspiration and good luck with the rest of the journey :)
  • Also, I just looked back through my diary and realized there were many days in the last couple weeks where I went over my cut value. I have been under the impression that you are supposed to eat back calories from exercise, no matter the amount! I don't know how I missed this :/ This could be one reason why I haven't had…
  • Thank you! I will definitely keep this in mind when I start back at cut :)
  • This might be a dumb question, but do I factor in my exercise when logging calories? Let's say I total 2600 calories, but I burned 300 with exercise. Do I need to eat back those 300 calories?
  • Thank you so much for all the help! I have been feeling a little "alone" with all this as I am surrounded by family and friends on VLCD who are losing weight like crazy. It can get depressing. And with my wedding coming up, stress is rising lol. What you said about being anywhere at or above TDEE -cut makes a lot of sense.…
  • The new stats put my cut value at 2289. My TDEE without a cut is 2693.
  • Well I just had to change my stats in the Scooby Calculator because I gained a pound. So my new stats are: Weight-210 Height-5'3 Age-26 Activity Level-Moderate I was on the TDEE - 15% cut Yes, I have always yo-yo'd on low cal diets since I was in high school. But before starting all this, I was gaining weight and eating…
  • This makes me feel soo much better! I have plateaued with my weight loss for the last three weeks or so. It can get so frustrating thinking I'm not making any progress, but hearing this reassures me that I am still headed in the right direction and the scale will budge eventually! Good job, by the way!
  • I am posting because I am feeling the exact same way right now! I have been doing EM2WL for 6 weeks now and for the past 4 or 5 days I have been feeling so TIRED! I have zero motivation to work out. I just feel like I am exhausted and wore out all the time. I have been doing strength training 4x/week, and doing 45 minutes…
  • Thanks so much for the input! I usually get around 135-150 grams of protein a day so at least I am doing good in that respect. I probably just need to cut back on the processed foods, as I know some days I go way overboard. Thanks again for the advice and I did friend request you!
  • Friend request sent! Welcome to the group :)
  • Thank you!
  • So do my NET calories need to be at my TDEE -15%, or just my overall food calories?? I've been a bit confused on this aspect!
  • I have not done a metabolism reset. I have done lots of low cal diets in the past and obviously that didn't work. MFP had me set at eating 1400 cals a day and I lost about 3 pounds in the last month or so. Not exactly the results I wanted to see. What exactly is the Metabolism Reset? Edit* I am a girl :) age 26, height is…
  • Thank you! Yes I did link to that site and input everything. I think I have it figured out now! So I will increase my calories a little making sure to go above my BMR but under the TDEE. Hopefully that will help!
  • So do I want to be eating at or above my BMR but below my TDEE?
  • Thank you all so much! I will check out the Eat More to Weigh Less thing. I will definitely try to eat more calories (healthy of course) and see if that makes a difference!
