  • Great to see you Gsheppy! Great job today! As for me I fumbled a bit. Woke up late, worked late - no real workout, just a short walk and then some cleaning when I got home, but I was moving and not being a couch potato so I'll take it. Don't know where everyone else is - looks like it's just us chickens!
  • Got it done today! :D 35 minutes of cardio + ab work and stretching! Day #2 DONE!!
  • Well yesterday wasn't the best start. I only got about 25 minutes of walking in but at least I did move. Food was "meh". Have to get back into cleaner eating. I'll do better today.
  • Hi gsheppy. I read your post. You're right we have gone off track in this group and I feel bad. How did you do on your challenge? Did you hit your goals? My purpose was to get AND give support and I've been slacking. I totally went off the rails over the last month and I can't figure out why....I'm willing to get back to…
  • Hello Everyone, Well I didn't have the best week and the weekend wasn't much better. I overindulged on the food and my exercise consisted of cleaning the house, running errands and cooking. Looking forward to a much more productive/healthy/exercising week! Mamacoates - YAY for DOMS! Gen - enjoy your vacation! Let's get a…
  • Hi Everyone - MIA - Guilty as charged :embarassed: Just getting over a stomach virus so no exercise and just started eating "regular" yesterday. Felling better and will get back on track asap. I'll catch up with everyone over the weekend! Cheryl :flowerforyou:
  • Well that is interesting. I use my Fitbit all of the time and would be lost without it. It keeps me on track and I use it as a gauge. I love seeing the steps add up and active miinutes and climbing higher on my friend list. However I only use it for steps and sleep. I don't record workouts or food on Fitbit. I use MFP…
  • It's always great to spend quality time with our "kids" - no matter the age. Glad to hear you enjoyed your trip! Evening snacking is one of my bad habits. For me I have either cut back on the bad stuff (mostly chips, but good chips) or swapped it out for some fruit. Cutting it out completely makes be want to binge on crap,…
  • No - I only log in the weight at the end of the week.
  • Enjoy your trip with your Son. Get some walking done and you'll get rid of those licorice calories! Heading to they gym tomorrow and then to the movies to see Dawn of the Planet of the Apes! Plan on taking my own air popped pop corn and stay away from the nachos that I love! Swimming on Sunday! Enjoy! :flowerforyou:
  • I weigh myself daily - every morning. Sometimes I skip a day if I've eaten something "bad" the day before. LOL. I weigh daily just to keep on track. I know that the weight will fluctuate, and it often does, but I look back at what I've eaten and/or what workout I have or have not done and take it from there. I do an…
  • Hello Ladies, Cheryl here! So sorry for being MIA - I needed to re-structure some things, but I'm on board and ready to roll! Married to my high school sweetheart and the proud Mother of two young men who will always be my "babies" LOL. I work full time in an HNW accounting firm. I am the Executive Assitant and Office…
  • Go to a beauty supply store and try on some wigs that way you can see what works before committing to something you might regret later. :drinker:
  • REALY Mock apple pie - cut up an apple (skin optional, but only if it's organic). Microwave apple for 15-20 seconds or to desired consistency (either chunky or apple saucy). Mix with cottage cheese (I use typically use the Breakstone single serve), stevia and cinnamon. - YUM!!
  • I'm definitely interested. My goal by years end is to lose three more pounds. Smaller goals are easier to maintain for me and I always like to give and receive support. What are the challenges?
  • You can add me as well - always looking to share support and motivation, and I'm a bit past 50
  • Hi Caroline - you can add me as well. I'm adding you!
  • WOW! You look amazing and I'm sure you feel even more than that!! Congrats!
  • Blessings and good luck to you!! I see you're well on your way - You can do this!
  • Great job on the weight loss!
  • Hi - I'm 56 and would love a few more friends - I need to lose 30 lbs. Please feel free to add me too!
  • I did WW for a year too and then found MFP. But like you said this is free and the food database is WAY better!!
  • Hey Girls! I'm 56 from NYC. I've been using MFP for awhile and need some friends too. I too have a bad knee and I'm hoping that losing this 30-35lbs that somehow crept up on me will take away some of the pain! Please add me!! I'll also send a request... Cheers!
  • McDonalds hamburgers, store bought cakes, pies, regular soda (unless it's tonic for my vodka, or coke for my rum); diet soda.
  • Hey Motown, I'm looking for a small supportive group as well. I've been on MFP for months and could use some friends. I'm fifty-something, love my family (married with two sons), myself (not in the narcissistic way, just an "affirmation to take care of me more way" ) and music. And I'm nice  Would appreciate hanging…
  • Hi - I'm from NY (NYC). Joined in July, but just started using MFP this week. Love it! Good luck to you too!
  • Hello All - Please add me as well. Seriously need motivation and would love to share what I know as well. Just re-explored MFP and it is awesome! Love the database and it makes it so easy to track my food, which will help keep me accountable. Anyone using Fitbit?
