  • I work a shorter shift (5p-1a) but have a similar problem. I generally eat between noon-3pm; 5-9pm (lunch break) and when I get home. I eat fairly healthy for the first two meals but when I get home I just have junk. If you're eating at a more reasonable hour after you get off then it might be worth cooking a healthy…
  • My favorite is my stuffed peppers: 1 lb of lean ground turkey 5-6 green/red peppers 1 cup of white/brown rice 1/2 cup of bread crumbs Spices to taste (salt, pepper, oregano, etc) 2 yellow onions 1 big can of V8 Now cut up 3 of the peppers, and 1 onion and throw them in the bottom of the pot Clean out the rest of the…
  • I haven't been on the site for a bit but I love to make egg white omelets with veggies (and with no meat/eggs you can add cheese). • Hi, feel free to add me, great to see someone else trying to do the same thing! I'm 25 (just finished grad school) and my short term goal is to drop 50 lbs to just under 200. I'm pretty tall (5'7) so my ultimate "goal" weight would be around 150. I think we're going for the same thing.
  • Hey I just graduated from Law School and am currently living with family while unemployed. Sadly I went off the deep end during bar studying (eating mostly take out). But i'm going to turn that around now as I search for jobs . . . so no gym in sight . . . just lots of stress, healthy food (except when i'm too stressed!)…
  • Thanks so much guys! Yes my goal is generally to lose weight--and until I get a job no gym membership (although I have no excuse not to go for a run/walk etc). Right now I just want to get down to a healthy weight then see what I want to do from there.
