Welcome back! I sent you a friend request. I am 29 and applying nursing school. I am 5'8'' and trying to get to 140ish so think that your goal sounds realistic!

Congrats on your little one! I have a 7 year old and decided that it was time to get my butt in gear so that I could be around for him. I found MFP a few days ago (I had lost 10 lbs before joining but was stuck in a rut). Since I have joined I have lost 3 more lbs! It is amazing the support on here. Feel free to add me as…

I hate eating breakfast, it makes me feel crummy. I usually drink water or will have some tea. The only time that I eat in the morning is if I am going to workout. Then I'll eat a protein bar or some oatmeal and fruit.

You have to realize that as hard as it was to say good-bye, your cat isn't in pain anymore. Choosing to help a pet pass is one of the…

I really like Cliff Bars. They are sweet but not too sweet. One bar that I love (it is pretty sweet, though) are Power Bar's Triple Energy. I ate one of those before an 8 mile run last week and did it in 1 hour 35 minutes. You need to find what foods work best for you before your work out.

I eat when I am stressed also. When I am stressed I will have a snack (Cliff bar, oatmeal, fruit) and than I'll go for a run. It helps me clear my head and relieve the stress!

1900 calories sounds like it is a good start. I know that you said that you work at home so it is hard for you to get out an exercise. You have to make time. Start by walking around the block. Wake up 5-10 minutes earlier or go on your lunch break or before dinner. You have to commit to loosing weight and becoming healthy.…
