Make sure that you have good shoes (like everyone else has said) and make sure that you have good socks too. I lost 2 1/2 (yes that's right) for an 11 mile run two weeks ago. Wear your black toenails as a badge of honor!

Get good running shoes, the ones from the running stores where they fit you for shoes and see a doctor. You should not be in severe pain. Have you tried Ibuprofin to help with inflammation?

I eat around 1300-1600 calories a day (sometimes more when I do my long runs). I have lost 26 lbs (10 on my own and 16 with MFP).

I hate to say it, but you may have to take a couple of days off. If you keep re-injuring it will take forever to heal and you have a greater possibility of it becoming infected. Have you tried mole skin?
