i'm plenty skeptical - you're the one refuting medical studies based on what people in the gym have been telling you (or wherever you may have heard it.. i know it's been going around for a long time) you should check all the references they cite and laugh about how they don't know what they are talking about, too.

i've found good luck with having a couple days with about 3k calories and no exercise (and by a couple i mean two) and then getting back to being strict on calories and exercising that has helped me get over plateaus so far and in the past
