I haven't given up anything. I'm making a lifestyle change and there is nothing I'm willing to give up for life. However - I don't eat things every day either. Moderation is working well for me.

I notice that I'm toning up a bit now - but I take measurements so that helps. I can't always see my progress so the measuring tape helps.

Nice job! And I second this. I'm on day 20 of the 30 day shred and it does get a bit repetitive but I HAVE to do it because I'm getting results. I found a refillable water bottle at Wal-Mart for about $5. I recently purchased a heart rate monitor and made the horrific discovery of exactly how off both my elliptical and MFP were.
