I actually just ordered this - and then realized how old it actually is. Anyhow - it arrived last Thursday and I'm ready to give it a go.

I two am obsessed with froyo. We have a few places in the area but really tend to hit froyo up at least once a week - somtimes twice.

My three year old gets dessert if he made a real effort at dinner. I certainly don't require a clean plate and try to set that example as well. My son does not get dessert every day because it's not a choice every day - but occassionally- sure he can have it. Clean plate or not. ****Edit***** <<<<<I love that my profile…

I fully agree with this.

While everyone else is saying exactly what I'm thinking - if you don't want to hear about eating too little - here is the next option. I too weigh daily but only log my Monday numbers. Doing this for months has shown me one thing - in the several days (5 to 7) before TOM - my weight will shoot up nearly five lbs - and as…

Hi! I am a married work from home mom of one  Working at home gives a whole new meaning to "desk job". I have a goal of 125 which means I started with 114lbs to lose.

I'm 31 (32 in June) - and it does seem harder now. I use Jillian Micahels DVDs and have an elliptical but I'm hoping to start running in the near future too. I still eat what I want to eat (if it fits in my calories) but portion control is key for me - and I learned early on that the more I workout the more I can eat…

I just came across this - and it's a great question. My son turned three in December and was diagnosed right before he turned two. My husband and I always talked about two kids - but he's concerned about having a second child with autism. I'm concerned about leaving my son alone in the world when our time comes. I'm also…

Well said. I will look you up - I love having people that can relate because let's face it - until you love someone diagnosed - you really have no clue.

I'm on week 10 - and I too couldn't do pushups before but now can  My scale hasn't moved as much as I'd like but I'm noticing more definition and looser clothing. I'll take measurements again when I complete it. I enjoy the workouts - I like how they change every two weeks and build upon each other. If you would…

I sometimes put a tablespoon of hershey's syrup over a sliced banana and does the trick for me.

Awesome idea - I'm stealing it.

Daytona also offers track tours daily - some even take you onto the track providing no other events are schedule for that day.
-
Me three - but everyday I stay on track becuase I'm worth it - I deserve to be an even better version of the awesome person I am.
-
I log it all - good or bad. ***edit to add - it helps me see trends in going over on macros, TOM, etc.
-
I make all of the excuses - but I also tell myself I can keep making excuses or I can make progress - so in the end I do what I gotta do to get the results I want.

Body weight, exercise DVDs (I like the the JIllian Michaels ones) and an elliptical. Also - pushing my kid in the stroller or chasing him at the park on nicer days.

I weigh and log daily. I like to see the fluctuations and I don't stress over them. As long as the basic trend is downward I know that small gains here and there are no biggie because I can see the trends. It keeps it real for me - but isn't for everyone.

Multivitamin, D3, Calcium, Flaxseed Oil

It's all on you. Meaning - it's all on me. I can sit around and stay overweight and lazy or get up and get it done. It's my choice - and I have to live with it and accept it.

We stopped the diaper thing as well - and if he's holding it well - every hour or so I would sit him on the potty (I started every 30 min, then ever hr, then 1.5, etc - then one day he squealed "tee tee" and he's been telling me ever since). If you already know about how long he's hold it then you can gauge about when to…

Oh My God! I love this. Thank you for sharing. It not only puts things into perspective but gives me stuff to work towards as my toddler grows. It really brings a tear to my eye.

Hi Everyone! Glad to see such great stories. Jordison will be three in December. I can't believe he's growing up so quickly. His speech is really taking off - though only those close to him can really understand what he is saying and while he uses normal tones at home - he speaks very quietly when out an about. His longest…

I second this (I'm 5'1") - I find that the calorie number also motivates me to work out - the more I work out, the more I can eat. Simple logic - but the truth.
-
This sounds about right. It tends to be more about taking a cut from your BMR vs the generic MFP numbers.

Way to go! Congratulations! I do not run either (yet) - and starting with a 5k is a personal goal of mine too! Congrats on hitting your milestone
