I list them under "home workout" since that seems closer in description than Pilates. For instance, if you watch generic home workout DVDs (think The Firm), Cassey's videos are closer to that than most standard Pilates sessions.

5'3", 127lbs. My ideal is 117 (HS athletic weight), but I will settle for 120. I sadly was already there about six months ago, but stopped tracking/ working out during the holidays and put most of it back on :( I am a big fan of "just keep moving" over hour of exercise to equal out sitting on your butt all day. As a…

Portabella with pesto! Just marinate portabella caps in pesto, then grill.

It can really help in weight loss and muscle definition. I used to be a competitive swimmer, and could eat whatever I wanted without gaining weight. Plus, I had an eight pack, and I was always around 15% body fat. However, that was on a rigorous one to one an a half hour training routine I did six days a week. I think the…

You won't bulk up from either the elliptical or treadmill unless you are juicing (taking hormones). It is *very* difficult for the female body to "bulk up." For reference, a female "body builder" has one of the strictest weight training and eating schedules I have ever seen. Now, I would personally recommend cross-training…

The rule I follow is to try re-lacing your shoes before buying new ones. http://www.runnersworld.com/article/0,7120,s6-238-267--12334-0,00.html If that does not work, try Under Armour's Assert II (2) running shoe. The memory foam like lining is amazing! I will never buy another brand for general workouts.

<--- Honors student, Biotech major. Cats are named Zoidberg, Nibbler (he passed away), Leela, Bender, and Professor; the rumba is named Scruffy. The guinea pigs were named Cortana (from Halo), Tex (from RvB), Shippo, InuYash, Tweek (from South park), and Tali (from Mass Effect). I love FPS and RPGs. So, I fit into most…

I hope you realize that even those models have said that keeping their body like that is a full-time job. It is what they are paid to do as models. They have said that the average person can't look like them. I really wish I could find you this quote...

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/healthy-diet/NU00200 http://www.webmd.com/diet/healthy-kitchen-11/how-much-protein The upper limit of a healthy diet puts you at 35% protein. I would recommend shooting for 20 to 25% protein for now. After you start training harder, increase that to aim for 25 to 30% protein.

Fruit and a cup of coconut water.

I use a different one by Syntax (Syntax-6 Chocolate Milk Shake). Look for whey protein to be first on the list.

For me it was a few factors: Having to pull out my "fat pants"... Then a year later being too large for those pants. For me this was depressing because I did not like the way I looked in my clothing. Plus, I am on a limited budget as a college student, and a new wardrobe is not included. Then, not being able to run a mile.…

This articles was the best I could find in a pinch. I just remember watched a documentary about a man that took a whole hand full of highly recommended supplements (by the body building community). It turned out he was on too many supplements and it started to slowly hurt his organs; the kidneys were the first to show…

I only use a protein powder on days I don't get enough, and a multivitamin when my diet calls for it. Other than that please read this: http://www.webmd.com/food-recipes/features/effects-of-taking-too-many-vitamins

MFP resets protein intake at about 15%. An article I once read said up to 30% is healthy.

My advice is to REALLY (not yelling, italicized) do the research before buying one. Know what features you really want, how accurate you want it to be, and the cost of upkeep/ how often it will need replaced. I did about ten full hours of research. Here is what I found: Chest straps are most accurate Many watches need to…

I have been living in yoga pants and plain t-shirts for the past six months! Yoga pants fit for a range of like three to four pant sizes.

It is because they can round down. So five sprays does have some calories, but it is less than one. Therefore, they can technically put zero.

You talk about being celiac, maybe eating other grains that are gluten-free would help? Just brainstorming.

No hybrids? :( I prefer to run on my cardio days.

5'3" aiming for 115+/- a few as long as I am physically fit. I remember this being the weight I was as a swimmer. If I can't build back the same amount of muscle, 110.
