Yesterday I realized I hadn't drunk in all of 2012...Not one single stinking drink, beer, glass of bubbly, NOTHING. And you know what I miss most about it? Not a god damn thing. 2013 will be as successful as you want to make it! Good luck!

MFP cals are generous...For example the treadmill says I burned 500 cal in 45 minutes...mfp says its 750 cals. I compensate by putting in whatever time = 500 call.

I just bought a Fuji Absolute 1.4 yesterday!!! I'm going out on the San Gabriel River trail after the gym...I Don't have my pump, seat or water bottle mounted yet...I hope today isn't the first day I get a flat on the trail!!!! I rode at least 1000 miles in the last 6 months of 2012, but I did a poor job of keeping track,…

Get: "1-800-LAP-BAND"

CRAP...is it already going to be packed tommorrow??? I wanna get my back and biceps in, and be out, without a long wait.
-
Why only 50% ? I'm sure most of his eating will be in the house, so you can make the biggest impact in the home.

It will give you a good shape, not a pear shape. It will be nice, you will like it..it's different than being fat. If you don't like the results you can always stop...but you won't want to. I bike ride a lot, and I can feel my *kitten* and thigh muscles trying to poke their way through the fat...it is awesome.

YOU GO GIRL! They are your workouts to enjoy as you wish.

I used to be a big beer drinker...I had a big *kitten* gut to show for it...I looked like I had been pregnant with triplets for 6 years. I realized today that I did not have one single, stinking beer the entire year. And the best thing, I don't miss it, don't need it, have no desire to do so. There are some people I do not…

Rode my new Fuji Absolute 1.4 bike 2 hours, 4 minutes...1847 calories...yeah...holla at your boy

Holy crap man, you are insane. Good luck on your long trip. I picked up biking this year because I was bored with the elliptical and with walking. i bought a used hybrid off craigslist. I live in SoCal..we have paved bike paths along our paved rivers...I found I really enjoy bike riding..I'm looking for a brand new hybrid.…

Just do the cardio to lose FAT. Running, biking, whatever. Keep lifting weights though, you need them muscles to rastle.

Scooby kicks *kitten*. He has a youtube chanel where he tells you everything. His plan is low cost, easy to do at home workouts. He's not in it for any sort of money, he just wants to help you reach your fitness goals.

I try to do weakly cheat meals where I can eat whatever I want. It helps me stay sane. If you are a member of gym, and they have a thing to do hyperextensions, that really helps with the glute muscles.
-
Too aggressive. But you can defintely do it over the course of the whole year. Take your time, make changes for the long haul...change your habits.
-
No way you lost muscle that fat. You probably ate some foods which caused you to retain water and look a little puffier and less defined. NOTHING to worry about.

1-I got the $300 24 month 24hr fitness membership from costco. 2-I bought a bike, and found I LOVE riding the paved river bike paths all around Southern California 3-Joined MFP 4-Tracked my daily food intake.
-
Get a little scale to weigh portion sizes. It's not as much trouble as you would think. They have "cute" ones on Amazon for 30-40 bucks.
-
The 24 month deal through costco for 24 hour fitness is like $320, or like $13 bucks a month. 24 hour fitness has more good than bad points to me. Look at some of the ridiculous videos of planet fitness on youtube. Planet fitness seems like a place where people get gym memberships, so they can say they have a gym…

If you're not hungry at 1200, I'd go back to that, and do more cardio. I defintely wouldn't eat more on exercise days. 10lbs is kind of a lot for someone 5' 1" to gain in that short of time.
-
Congratulations on making all these positive changes. Be patient, and stick to your plan. If you live near a 24 hour fitness, I bought a two year membership through Costco for like $300 bucks. It has been the best $300 I've ever spent. I gave up beer, soda, and mcdonalds, and that has made big changes for me. My dad gave…

It sounds aggressive, and perhaps the aftermath will cause you to give up your good habits. BUT I ride a bike for really long distances, like 2-3 hours...i think according to my gps and estimates I've burned 4000 calories in 3 hours. The elliptical and stair machines at the gym really burn calories like a mutha. I'd get on…

Probably ham. I'm going to pig out...I've worked hard this year.:drinker:

Do it up!

I've been lifting weights since April. My goal in 2012 was to remove as much fat as possible, which I think I've succeeded at. I lift to break up the boredom at the gym. I do standing curls with dumbbells , and reverse grip curls with the barbell. I love the reverse grip curl...it gives a nice bicep workout. I've noticed…

Giving up beer and soda made a huge difference in my weight loss. I NEVER want to drink that stuff again...I used to love drinking Stella Artois Peroni, and coca-cola and i thought they were soooo good...but after seeing the weight loss when I gave it up, I have no desire to drink that stuff again.
-
I want to go ride my bike on the trail...but i'm afraid someone will see me and think I am a dork...but i think I'm going to go anyway.
-
DUDE NO...It's one day a year. Make grammy happy. You can count calories all the other days of the year.

Damn, that's terrible. A lot of us have difficult relationships with a/our parent(s) for a lot of reasons. Good luck.

22 lbs lost! Yeah me. I try to eat well during the week, but the weekends, I try to be sensible, but it doesn't always happen. Stuffing myself on the weekends has damn sure made my week tolerable. i exercise regularly and pretty hard, i ride a bike, and I try to log my food regularly, and BAM magic.
