Today I have a hard boiled egg and about 3/4 cup quinoa salad.

Quinoa or whole-wheat pasta is great for making a cold salad. Add cherry tomatoes, some feta cheese, diced peppers & onions and some olive oil and balsamic. Soo good. I make a big batch, but it in the fridge and throw shrimp or chicken in either one to take to work for lunch. :)

Looks good. I make a similar nacho dip. Bottom layer is sour cream and cream cheese mixed together, then salsa, then grated cheese.. if you want to be really bad you can cook ground beef with taco seasoning and add diced tomatoes and shredded lettuce on top!

My husband LOVES chicken wing dip. It's a dip that you dunk tostitoes in, but it tastes like buffalo wings! It's so bad and so good!

I can't fix the fact that I'm 26 years old have have stretch marks all over my stomach from having my daughter..but I can work really hard an feel good in a pair of jeans or a nice dress :)

I eat brown rice pretty much every night. I mixed it up with mixed veggies, a bit of butter and salt and pepper, also either chicken breast or salmon cut up into it.

whole wheat english muffin & 2 poached eggs is wha tI eat most morning. Sometimes I make my own egg mcmuffins by having only one egg and adding cheese and ketchup!

This sounds like something I'd like too. Before I used chocolate flavoured whey powder, 1/2 banana, ice and 1 cup 1%milk..sometimes if I wanted to splurge I'd add 1 tbsp peanut butter!

I used to make them at home with with powdered whey protein.. I didn't think of that actually. I could probably make it at night and stick it in the fridge. I'll have to check and make sure there's a fridge at work.. but that's a good idea!

You are so right! I love getting up at 5:30 am and going for a good run. By the time I get home and get out of the shower I think to myself.. "How many people get to have such a great feeling of accomplishment before 7am?"

Oh fyi. I had brown rice with mixed vegetables and cut up chicken breast mixed you with pasta sauce at lunch today and it was delicious! Not sure if it's something you would like but it was really good!

Are there any directions on the package? I always make mine in the rice cooker, but I have heard that you should use a little bit more water with brown because it tends to be dryer. For extra flavour you could throw in a clove of garlic when it's cooking, or use chicken stock instead of water. Good luck :)

I also find this post funny coming from someone who's profile claims that they gained 80 lbs in 4 months due to a thyroid problem. But all obese kids have unloving parents?
