Thanks everyone for your responses. As hard as it has been to let it rest I have been trying to do that and I've been icing it, wearing a brace etc. My thought was overuse as well but who has time to let it rest! ???? our mts finally got snow!!! i just made some ranch tonight using blended lowfat cottage cheese to get all the chunks out and then a hidden valley packet. i thought it tasted great and my kids didn't even notice the difference. much healthier than sour cream! or mayo!

ya really hrm is the best thing. even during the weight exercises it's nice to see my hr and what my total calorie burn is. I wouldn't recommend it. Part of the purpose is certain exercises working together and keeping your heart rate up to get the calorie burn. I have done this too! It's definitely a fun way to burn calories. I find if I jump around inbetween moves and songs I burn even more. It's a fun way to mix up your cardio workout!

I know it's hard but it is definitely better to rest and let your knee heal properly otherwise you risk further injury. Just keep making good food choices and maybe see if you can do some type of upper body workout. Maybe that will help you feel better since you can't do cardio or anything that effects your knee! I've read sometimes 2 shorter ones can be better as they gear up your metabolism at two different times instead of just once!? I'm sure anything you do will be better than nothing. Just work hard during both of those workouts! Good luck!

check out the abs diet recipes online (you can just google it). they have a ton of smoothie recipes that will help you get some nutrtitious food and calories and taste yummy.
