Please be mindful that running, or even jogging, at 230+ lbs is going to put terrible strain on your joints. It will kill your ankles and knees and it is hard to maintain proper form. It might help you to make smaller goals. Focus on losing 5 lbs, logging in for one straight week, getting in 30 minutes of exercise, etc. Big goals can be overwhelming when you try to take them in all at once.

When I read threads on cheating or good/bad food or guilt associated with eating I wonder why there needs to be a punitive aspect to the process of becoming healthier? How can you be truly healthy through punishment?

Nothing! It's super amazing to get leaner, feel stronger, sleep better, get attention, be healthier. I can't think of one thing that I am nervous about when it comes to weight loss. It's fantastic and exciting.

I have a hard time loving KBs even if I use them at the gym 3 times a week. They still hurt my lower back. I have no idea what I am doing incorrectly. Does anyone have a good tutorial?

It's annoying. I'm a size 4 and an S (on top) at Old Navy. No effing way am I that size. So it annoys me because where the heck am I going to shop when I go down from the size 6 that I really am and get smaller than an S on top? OTOH, Target doesn't do that but I don't like the clothes there.

Took me over 6 days and lowering my carbs to get rid of an extra 5lb water weight.

I went from someone who couldn't run 10 steps to running 3.1 miles thanks to that program. Can't run a step more than 3.1 miles though!

I can't think like that. I would have shut it down after the first sentence, before the whole thing snowballs. Fixating on food is not worth it for me.

Nothing is wrong with ypu but something may be wrong with what you are doing. I'm sure you will find it and fix it. I've been where you are with this process.

Maybe he is just totally uneducated in matters of nutrition and fitness. My primary care physician is very ignorant in this subject. He asks me hw i do what i do to get healthy instead of the other way around.
