  • Wow, you are beautiful! Great job, and so inspirational. I've been looking at photos of my legs, since I'm down 10 lbs and boy does it make a difference!
  • You bring up a good point. I keep ending up way under calorie-wise, but I'm not hungry. Right now, I'm not hungry and I have 528 calories left for the day. I already jogged today, but I was going to head out into the garage and get on the treadmill to walk, too, which will increase my calorie deficit. I think I'm going to…
  • I keep ending up way under calorie-wise also, so I was just looking up Jif extra crunchy peanut butter to see if I should eat 1 or 2 tbsp!
  • Yes, I'm totally not buying more size 16 jeans and size large tops! That's my current size. I have 50+ pairs of jeans in my closet. Some are from when I was a teen, when I was half my current size. Sure, I weigh myself and track, but I cannot wait to be able to fit into a size 14. That'll make me happy to start! I hope…
  • Ugh, that's exactly how I feel! Of course, we're happy they lost and are looking great, but we're like turtles inching along.
  • Thanks so much for your response. Your post made me laugh out loud because that's exactly what I'm talking about. "Sure didn't look like he was trying very hard..." yet he lost so much, seemingly easily! Congrats! 43 lbs. is an amazing weight loss, and obviously you've worked very hard and stayed focused. I originally…
  • Congrats on your weight loss! That is amazing! You are an inspiration to me! 40 lbs in one month? See, our bodies are so different! Of course, our hubbies must have far more muscle than us, so they burn fat rapidly.
  • Thanks for your - technically - double response! Indeed, it is humanly possible. I replied to the person, as well. You are a testament to that, too. Gosh, 15 lbs in two weeks? See, that sounds impossible, but it's not! After being here just this short time and reading people's experiences, I'm realizing how different we…
  • Thanks! Congrats on your weight loss so far! I'm only down two, but I'm feeling good and am happy with the new routine.
  • Thanks! It looks like you and I are both at the beginning of our weight loss journeys! Yes, that's where my husband has a leg up--he's basically all muscle! One thing I didn't necessarily intend to do, but have done, is get into a state of ketosis. I have the urine strips, and they're dark purple. I've simply been eating…
  • Thanks for your response. Again, I'm really happy he had such a great start. I hope his rapid weight loss sticks, though. Wow, 45 lbs in two months?! Great inspiration! I'm following in your footsteps! Like you, I'm not finding it "difficult" to maintain the new eating and exercise routine. I've already dropped a little…
  • I know! That's what I thought, too. There is no exaggeration here. Yes, we weigh ourselves together. I do believe he must've lost lots of water weight immediately, and his belly almost went away. Like I said, he's basically all muscle. He really doesn't have much to lose other than the belly/oblique region. One thing I can…
  • I haven't done P90X or tried Shakeology, but two of my friends have. One friend did P90X and lost 30 lbs. Another friend just started Shakeology. She's trying to lose 20 lbs. The lady who turned her on to Shakeology dropped 40 lbs. with it. :o)
  • Thanks for sharing! You are beautiful! What an inspiration!
