  • Your body could still be getting used to your new job, with the increased level of activity & not having a longer break. Perhaps take it easy for another few weeks and step it back up gradually?
  • I know you tried swimming but have you tried aqua jogging? And I agrees with the poster before, most of weightloss is done in the kitchen, but if you're anything like me it's much faster with added exercise.
  • It could be a lit of different things, I have trouble with my ITB & TFL & it presents as pain under my knee and down the sides. Mine's musculoskeletal but I have had some running coaching to make sure my running style isn't going to aggravate it. Once you find out what it is I'd suggest making sure your running style…
  • Any chance you could see a physio? I hurt both my knees recently and physio got me back dancing & running within 4 & 6 weeks respectively. Without it I'd have been out much longer.
  • Congratulations!! I am training for my first half - love knowing that even a non-runner can become a runner with a little determination.
  • Woohoo! Well done. I have my first half in February - the (amazing runner) boyfriend roped me into it yesterday. Hope I can finish mine too!!
  • I love mine mashed or boiled or cooked up as a soup.
  • They're really popular here, especially opaque black or colored ones or patterned. I wear them most days in winter & I'm 26. I currently have a 'thing' for dance tights - but only at night. They make my legs look fantastic! Too shiney for daywear though. Edited to say I'm wearing them in my profile pic. The pic on the…
  • Yip - MAKE yourself do it (get back on board without a new account or a new week) just once, and you'll realize it's no big deal for the future.
  • My inital goal was 145, I've just surpassed that and re-evaluated down to 135, but the closer I get to that the more I think it's not going to be where I feel comfortable, I think I'll ultimately end up somewhere between 120 and 130. I just hope I can do it fairly quickly, right now I'm losing about 1/2lb a week when I…
  • I like the idea of exercising to drink too - but wanted to warn you (from experience haha!) that after a few drinks, especially on an empty tummy, your counting goes out the window and you are far more inclined to overeat :-)
  • Everyone's right it's nothing to worry about BUT rewarding yourself with food is never a great idea - get a massage, buy that dress you love or a fancy new water bottle or if it HAS to be a food thing buy some expensive/flash fruits & treat yourself with an exotic fruit salad :-)
  • I have only lost 54lbs (24.3kg), but.... *I am smaller than I've been since middle school *I have more confidence than ever *I feel sexy *I wear size 4 dresses (UK/NZ/Aus size 8) not 10 (14) *I wear size 6 pants (UK 10) not 12 (16) *My tops are small not L/XL *I wear JUST my bikini - in public pools! *I have a super HOT…
  • Here are mine, I'm a tad under 5'4" and I still have a little to go
  • I haven't posted mine before - but the OP is from NZ like me, and I'm a bit of a shorty (164cm - a little under 5'4") So is me so far. I still have a few kg to go.
  • Not Zumba, but I've lost 51lb dancing zouk lambada and similar latin styles.
  • Ohh definitely don't let earthquakes stop you coming to visit Christchurch - it seems we're well and truly over the worst of them. Plus with all the rebuilding (where else are you going to go and find a WHOLE new city!?) this is about the most exciting place to be in NZ. Thanks to the quakes I've lost my home twice, I've…
  • I'm terrible at packing my own lunches for uni, I try to make myself a few sandwiches when I make my son's school lunch and I like to throw in a healthy snack (like an apple or two) that normally tides me over for the day. But failing that I've scoped out all the cafes and restaurants on campus and I know where to buy…
  • love22step you DEFINITELY could rock a bikini! I hope I'm half as hot as you at 60 :o)
