I'm 42, 5'5", and currently weight 117 lbs. My goal weight was 120 lbs, but I'm still trying to figure out maintenance. I think I'm stabilizing at this point. I typically eat ~1600-1900 calories per day depending on whether I exercise (I usually exercise 4-5 days per week).

I met my goal in December, and at first I stopped logging, but then I continued to lose weight and realized I need to get more scientific about figuring out exactly where my calories need to be so that I can truly maintain. I tend to think I've eaten more calories than I actually have. Also, I wanted to focus more on…

I'm mom to two toddlers as well, and I used to get fast food quite frequently. We swore off it all completely back in June and have never looked back. I feel better not only about my health but about the kids health as well. Feel free to add me if you like.

I'm 42 and have met my weight loss goal but am still figuring out maintenance and working on fitness. I'm always looking for new, good ideas with regard to food and exercise, and I'm happy to provide support & encouragement to others. You're welcome to add me.

I'm 42 with two children, and they were a large part of what motivated my weight loss. I've met my goal but am still figuring out maintenance and working on fitness. I'd be happy to give you support and encouragement if you'd like to add me.

I've lost the weight, but I'm still figuring out maintenance and working on fitness. Would love to support and encourage others as well. Feel free to add me.

I'm 5'5", and my goal weight was 120 lbs. I'm currently at 117, not because I wanted to lose more but just because I'm still figuring out maintenance.

Mine shrank, and I'm very happy about it! I never liked 'em big, and I'm glad to be back down to my original smaller size. Running and various exercises go much more smoothly without all that bouncing around. Of course, if you asked my husband, he might not feel the same way. :-P

Before: After: I'm 5'5", currently 117lbs, take in about 1600-1800 calories per day, and exercise 4-5 days a week (using Leslie Sansone Walk at Home DVDs). I started in June (was 164 then - had already lost 10 lbs) and reached my goal weight in December (120). I'm still trying to figure out my maintenance.

42 here and reached my weightloss goal in December. I was in decent shape in my twenties, but a sedentary job and poor diet/lack of exercise throughout my thirties really put on the pounds. My husband and I did MFP and our weight loss together. Being healthy for our kids was a big motivator, but we did it for ourselves…

I've been using it a bit, usually put a small amount in my morning yogurt (Siggi's). To me, it has a bit of a fruit flavor and thus mixes well with vanilla or fruit flavored fruits. Don't know if I would put it in something made with chocolate, etc.

Love her DVDs - I have 5 Day Slim Down and 4 Mile Power Walk and do them 4 to 6 times per week (usually pick 2 miles from the 5 Day Slim down and throw in the 4 mile walk every now & then). They've been my sole source of exercise during my weight loss. I reached my goal and am more toned than ever before in my life, so I'd…

4-6 days a week doing Leslie's Sansone's Walk at Home DVDs. I boost throughout so really get quite a workout.

I'll be having a sandwich, some broccoli and cauliflower, and a variety of fruits. Lunch is my big meal - will be a little over 400 calories.

I'm very lucky it seems, since my husband and I did this together. It did help enormously to both be on the same track. We started this as a result of his health scare (we applied for life insurance, and his cholesterol and triglyceride numbers were really bad), so he was actually more into it at first than I was (he was…

I really like the Walk at Home series by Leslie Sansone. I'm also a mother of two, so I need a relatively quick workout. She does 15 minute miles or 12 minute fast miles. You can combine miles for the amount of time you can spare. I'm more toned than ever before in my life, and I credit her workouts for it.

My absolute favorite snack right now is a Suzie's Kamut puffed cake (agave sweetened, 31 calories) with some Siggi's vanilla skyr nonfat yogurt spread on top (the yogurt is 100 calories for the entire cup - I only use a portion on the rice cake, but I do usually finish off the yogurt afterward). The combination of textures…

We tried this last night, and it tasted good, but I think we still had too much moisture in the zucchini when we baked it. We did drain and press it for 1/2 hour prior to baking, but I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a good/better way to get the moisture out. Is there a particular kitchen tool or tools that you use?

I've got a sweet tooth too, and I didn't give it up - we just buy lower calorie alternatives. As far as cookies go, we like the WhoNu brand - you can have 3 chocolate chip or Oreo style cookies for 160 calories. That's still not super low cal, but it's decent if you can manage the self control to stick to the appropriate…
