As a podiatric surgeon in training I would highly recommend contacting a local podiatrist because you could have neuropathy that is due to a serious undiagnosed systemic disease.

I eat when I watch TV, seriously aweful!!! The worst mindless eating, no matter what i try, water, green tea, but when its movie night with roomies, I go all in and especially if its stressful/ high anxiety times!!

I try to get fresh fruits (pretty much all my carbs for the day) lean fish and poulry and LOTS of veggies!!! and green tea!
