First of all congrats on the loss! My waist has shrunk but no so much my legs. I find that size 14 is too big, but a 12 can be too tight over my thighs. After reading this post I got onto ebay and found a HRM watch for AUD $7.60. Will give it a go and see how I like it before buying an expensive one. Will be interesting to see if I am burning the calories I am supposed to be. Thanks for the idea!

A few times a week? Steak & Salad for dinner - if I load my plate up with salad there is less room to fit the chips on!

I do the same as you, I try a 30 min walk or 20 mins on the exercise bike which gives me enough to be able to have a decent balanced meal at dinner. Third times a charm right? First few times I did calorie counting I gave up after about 2 weeks, this time I added friends, I get loads of support, I read the message boards and it help me stick to it. I still have the odd binge day but I get back on the horse and thats whats counts!

I weight myself every Monday and log that into MFP but I also weight myself every Thursday so it can give you that all needed push to keep going even if its only 200g :)

Welcome. Use the money you will save on WW and buy yourself some new clothes as you lose the weight, I find rewarding myself with new clothes is best encouragement ever to stay on track!

Hi Katrina, I'm not a huge softdrink drinker I only have it when I drink alcohol so I have substitued my Bourbon & Coke pre mix cans to a bottle of Bourbon and I have it with Coke Zero - it's not the best but I find it is better than going without bourbon completely! Coke Zero does tatse better than Diet Coke if that helps…

Well said - not offended at all - Most days I go under my calorie limit, but it is usually only under by about 6 Calories as I need to eat the 1200 or I would be starving!

I would love to give this a go but I am still recovering from a broken foot & only starting to walk again to get my fitness back up - give me another 2 weeks and I will be rigght to give it a shot! Great Idea!
