Hi, im a fellow crohnie too. My body is better on a carb based diet which does nothing for my weight issues. I am trying hard to get more active when my energy levels are good. Feel free to add me 😄

I feel ya! I'm a large crohnie. My diet needs to be mostly carb based to ease my symptoms which does nothing for my weight. I also stuffer fatigue which means I don't exercise as often as I should either. Meds are always a gamble. I've had to stop one of mine due to a cancer scare so currently only on humira injections…

I lost 10kgs last year doing the 5:2, but put half back on when I gave up around Xmas. Finally getting myself back on track this week as it's the first day of Spring tomorrow and will be time to bring out the shorts soon (that I won't be able to get over my hips

Im 36 and started the 5:2 diet after seeing photos of myself from my sons 1st birthday party. Im 6 kilos down in 6 weeks but have another 12kgs to lose. Also have high cholesterol so trying to bring that back down. My fast days are closer to 700cals and 1700 on non fast days. Haven't been this motivated in a long time so…

I got hooked on coke for nearly a year - went cold turkey for a few days then switched to coke zero. Soooo not the same but my body ends up being greatful for the caffeine (dont drink coffee).

Im on week 3 - my 500 days are actually more like 700 days but the weight is coming off so I cant complain!

I started on Monday - 1st fast day was fine. 1700 cals Tues - second fast day today WAS STARVING ALL DAY LONG!!. Thank goodness I dont have to do it again til next Monday. I hope this gets easier.

Just reading all these helpful comments, my baby is 3 weeks old (born at 34 weeks) and we are being released from hospital tomorrow and I just wanted to read up on what I should be eating calorie wise for when I get home. I will be breastfeeding exclusively. Would love some like minded people to add as friends.

Buying clothes is the best reward there is for losing weight!!! Get an empty container and label it "Fat Clothes" and start adding clothes to the box as they get to big and see how many you can shrink out of - but definitely go buy some new clothes - they don't have to be expensive - just something that will lift you mood…
