You want to definitely consult your doctor on what you should be eating - but as someone who is anemic, you should try to eat as much green veggies as you can (spinach is HUGE for iron) along with red meat. Personally I would cut out the low carb diet until you are healthy again.

Congrats! Please check with your doctor on your calories etc. some people need more than 300, some need less. It's all about your body and how you are responding to pregnancy.

My whole metabolism changed after I had my son..I'm nervous for when I turn 30 in august haha. It's all about starting to watch what you eat..calorie counting etc. I'm getting back to it myself too! Good Luck!

MFP is such a great resource! It will really help you. I am in the process of losing my baby weight too, it's really hard! My recommendation would be to first take a week before you start making major changes and log all of your food and figure out how many calories you need to have each day to lose weight. I lost 25…

In the winter I will usually prepare something in the crockpot the weekend before to take with me for the week (like a chili/soup) Skinnytaste has a lot of great recipes. In the summer time I usually have a salad with some fruit and a protein.

Agree with PP's, though unfortunately you do have to sweat if you want to lose weight/become healthy. There's tons of different types of work outs, I'm sure you can find one that you enjoy!

How dare you judge this girl and her efforts, you are a piece of work and one of the worst kinds of people. You have no idea what led her to this point, so unless you do..keep your rude and unnecessary comments to yourself. Anyway. Sylvia, Welcome! I am a blogger (not on MFP but I have it through another site). I'd be…

30-45 minutes a day is fine, I mean if you can do a 2 hour workout then obviously power on. My day starts at 4:30am, go to the gym at work, shower and then work till 4:00, come home, start dinner, feed, bathe and put baby to bed. Then finish making dinner/eat with husband. Clean up, get lunches ready for the next day..pack…

To the OP: You can do it! I'm a new Mom as well of a 4.5 month old, it's not easy but you can do it with a lot of hard work!

I would say definitely not. Even if it is legal, doesn't make it right. She may seem mature, but she is still only a 17 year old girl.

Three pounds is great!! Have you been taking measurements as well? That helps me. I honestly have started a blog to keep myself motivated. It has really helped along the way to go back and see where I was when I started to where I am now. How is your diet? Lot's of veggies/fruits etc?

I hear you, I finished C25K last year, but I've been running on the treadmill for about a month now. For the past week I'm finding it hard to keep myself running and not slowing down (running I go about 6.0-6.5 walking is about 4.0). What I tried last night was (like others have suggested) slowing down (5-5.5) and it…

I am your height and weigh 149 and I have eaten 1300-1500 calories for the past 5 months and have lost 21 pounds. You definitely should be eating more. Try having snacks during the day, fruits and veggies usually are good.

Don't give up! Use the tools available to you! Start logging EVERYTHING , EVERY day. Don't use the "quick add calories" because you want to SEE what you are eating and not trying to guess. I do that every now and then if I'm really not sure what I ate(I work part time as a waitress so sometimes it's hard to keep track of…

I tried it and after two months I was sick of it (literally, sick to my stomach). It may work for some people, but I'll stick to my natural fruit and veggie shakes :)
