Thank god you brought this up because I was feeling like I was the only one that does this. I binged on drinking this past weekend and now I'm paying the price on the scale. I guess I'm going to do what someone suggested and hit the gym hard on weekend mornings so I can have my glass of wine later on.

You probably want to read these books if you want to understand more: Salt, Sugar, Fat: How the Food Giants Hooked Us Your Food is Fooling You: How your brain is hijacked by sugar, fat and salt There's a bunch of other similar books, but they all repeat the same thing - the food industry has capitalized on our brain's…

If you are like me, the week before my period is the worst. I crave meat and fat like no one's business. At that point, I just know that my body is telling myself something and I go get myself a burger. But I'm of the opinion that binging once in a while when my body really needs it is ok. I'm 40, 5'3". I started my diet 10/18/13 when I weight myself at 158 pounds. I decided it's time to start doing something about it. I'm down to 153 now and want to lose another 25 pounds. Like you, I'm not looking to be gloriously fit, just a healthy weight so I can enjoy my beer and occasional burgers. I sent a friend…

Welp, unfortunately, I'm not as skinny as all you, but I'm 5'3", does that count? =) I'm 40 years old and weighed 158 a few weeks ago. I'm down to 153 and aiming for 130 as my ideal. The more friends I have that have the ability to see my progress, the more honest and motivated I am to keep going.

I'm 5'3" and just turned 40. I weighed myself two weeks ago and found I was 158 pounds! I lost my s**t so I decided to start losing weight. I've made sure that I first did my food diary every day, even if I binged and I made sure I worked out 5 days a week for 30 minutes. I just weighed myself today and I'm down to 153.8.…

Thank you for posting this question. I'm new to all this so even though some people are tired of this dead horse, it's educational for new people. I've learned a lot from all your posts.
