  • You should go over on fiber and protein. These are too low. Also, bump up your calories to 1500. 1200 tends to be too low for a lot of people (myself included). Try to not eat much after 7:30 at night if you can help it. Also, go light on carbs at dinner. Women tend to have a tougher time breaking those down at night. Good…
  • Are you talking about vita tops? They are amazing!
  • Monday's are tough. I know I'm up 2 pounds (water weight) since Saturday due to a couple of poor choices. Not letting it bother me. I drank extra water this morning and will be super healthy today! It's a new week, a fresh start! Think of it that way :flowerforyou:
  • Thanks for the comments! I've just wondered that since I did soccer (14 years ago) and my thigh muscles got really big. It made for some very self conscious teenage years! I just HATE how when I wear shorts they seem to ride up to my crotch.......
  • I asked one of the times I was there and the waiter just said "Oh we have Ruby Tuesday brand" or some weird answer. I tried Ken's light but it was terrible, so that's not it!
  • Thanks guys! I just needed someone to tell me "don't eat sugary things at night." Sometimes I just need a little wrist slap :blushing:
  • I emailed the company and am waiting to hear back. Seriously, salad EVERY DAY if I owned this stuff and I didn't like salad until about 2 years ago.....
  • Ever tried Vita Tops chocolate chip muffin tops? They are in the freezer section, are 100 calories and have a good amount of fiber. They are serious cakey goodness
  • A lot of you seem to think I'm not eating enough, but by the end of the day I have eaten around 1600 calories. This is exactly the same thing I did when I lost the 8 pounds to start, but the weight I gained from the holidays (4 lbs) and their friend (1 more lb) will not go away! Yesterday I did EXTRA cardio and did 50…
  • I'm actually a middle school (6-8) band teacher :)

  • I've been working out for the past three years 4-5 days a week. I've been weightlifting and everything like normal. I eat all my 1200 and exercise calories.
  • At least we aren't alone
  • I've never had that problem, but I took those gummi vitamins once and had hives!
  • By the way, I LOVE that we can freely discuss our weight and sizes without feeling like someone will think badly of us! Thanks for the awesome support system! :flowerforyou:
  • I'm 5'5", 141, and currently wear around an 8 size pants and Small on top. I would love to get to a size 6, but we'll have to see

  • Hi Christy! My name is Christy and I am also 26 years old. When I get to my goal in 11 1/2 pounds, I will have lost 40 pounds. Small world, huh? Good luck! This webpage is AMAZING and so are the people here. :flowerforyou:
  • It just asks for weight, not age.
  • I have been on Yasmin (Yaz's older sister as my gyno calls it) for 4 years. I have not gained weight from it, but from my own bad habits  I have read research on this too. Apparently, they have said women gain weight on the pill because many times they are in a committed relationship and get comfortable with that…
  • First of all Congrats! You have such a wonderful accomplishment! I have lost about 23 pounds in a couple of years. I could not tell a difference at all! Other people complimented me, but I could not see it. I think we are all overly critical of ourselves and if we aren't fat free (ewwww) we feel fat still. Make…
  • I tried eating clean for a week straight back in March. I am not even overweight, and I lost 5 pounds in that week! Everyone noticed, even my brother who doesn't notice these things  I think jumping in head first was a little too hard for me, so I strayed for a bit, but now I'm trying it again to shed several more…
  • HAHA!!!! I'll do that one tonight :blushing:
  • I did the same thing once. It is the best feeling, isn't it? Congrats!!!!
  • I always go way over my protein for the day. I eat Kashi Go Lean Crunch in the morning. It is high fiber, high protein and very tasty. Also, eat soups with lots of beans (kidney, pinto) because they have tons of protein. Snack on some low fat string cheese. If you work out, drink a protein shake afterwards. I use GNC…
  • Congrats on taking the first step! Instead of saying "I need to lose 100 pounds" how about going for 10 at a time, that was it is less daunting. Just an idea. I hope you are very successful! :flowerforyou:
  • HAHA! I was stuck at 149 for 3 months and just got to 148.8 this morning, so I totally understand!
