I have PCOS and have never had issues losing weight. Did your doctor put you on a low carb diet? Also, I've always been told that Insulin Resistance causes PCOS. Have you been checked for that too?

If you're not a diabetic or need to watch your sugar intake I wouldn't worry about going over. Especially if it's natural sugars. =)

I have PCOS and insulin resistance. My doctor put me on the Insulin Resistance diet and I lost 10 pounds a month. It's a low carb high protein diet that really taught me how to portion control. I was losing until I stopped working out. Exercise is key!

I love Adventure Time! I teach middle school and carry an Adventure Time lanyard around my neck to carry my keys. At school we also had a "We go together day" and I dressed up like Finn and a bunch of students dressed up like Gunther. Twas epic.

I've been on so many different BC during my life and the only one that I found was worth anything was the Nuvaring. When I started the ring I didn't gain a pound! Also if you forget to change it, it takes only a week to get back on the cycle. AND you can take antibiotics on it. I swear by this medication!

I found out that I had insulin resistance eight months ago and was put on a low cab diet. I eat a 15 carb to 7 protein ratio and I love it. The change has really taught me how to portion control and eat better foods.

I've lost 80 pounds off the insulin resistance diet. Even if you're not pre-diabetic, limiting your carbohydrate intake and increasing your protein will still work. I've lost 81 pounds in 8 months. At the start of my weight loss I was losing 11 - 12 pounds a month. In my 8th month I'm no longer losing that much. All I did was cut out my carbs and ACTUALLY exercised. I did water aerobics during the summer and zumba during the fall.

I also have PCOS and Insulin Resistance. I've lost almost 80 pounds on the Insulin Resistance diet! So I'm a little confused when you say "lose weight faster." I lose about 10 pounds every month on a 7 protein to 15 carb ratio. I highly recommend reading the Insulin Resistance book and following the program.
