Started eating a lot healthier . . .more grilled food, veggies, and fruit. A lot less junk food. Really started counting calories and gaining a better understanding of serving sizes and how my body and food interact. And for the running: couch to 5k. A lot of people use apps on their phone, I found my schedule off of…

[/quote] Oh, and by the way, TEACHERS are NOT in classes to teach YOUR CHILD "manners and respect, etc.". They are there to teach classes. It is the PARENTS who teach manners. It is the PARENTS who teach respect. If YOU don't do that, there is NOTHING a teacher can do to make it happen FOR you. So teach your own child…

Feel free to friend me! Been on here almost 8 months and it has changed my life! Good luck on your journey :).

I ran 11 miles! Took 2 hours and 5 minutes. On pace to finish my half marathon in about 2 hr 30 min, maybe a little more. I rock!! :)
-
I kept it between 1200 and 1400, even with exercise. But now that my training for this half is much more strenuous (running for 10 or more miles on run days) my body needs more fuel so those days sometimes up to 1800. My weight loss has slowed as I've neared my goal but I knew that would happen and I am happy with a slow…

My waist started out at 42, then at 20 pounds it was 40, at 40 pounds 37 and now at 60 pounds it is 35. The same measurements/increments for my hips are 44, 42, 40.5 and then 37.5. For my thighs (same increments of 20 pounds) it started at 29, then 27, 25.5 and now 24.5. Calves - 17.5, 17, 17, and now 16. And lastly upper…

Thanks!! I understand about being uncomfortable, I felt like that for years. For diet I try to stay between 1300 and 1400 on non-run days and I'll up it to 1500 on run days (I am currently training for a half marathon so that is taking a lot of my time). As I run longer distances I'll probably up the calories more, good…

Try strava . . . it's by far the best app I've used (and on your profile it will show how many runs, how many miles, and total time of the all the runs you've logged, which is what you said you are looking for). I've tried several apps and none have worked as well as this one. And it's free!! Good luck!

C25K is couch to 5 k. It is a running schedule for people who have never run before to get them started. It's free and there are several different apps on phones or schedules you can simply print off the internet. I got mine of pinterest. I also got my training program for my half marathon, for free, off the internet. I am…

I really watch my serving sizes now. I never knew how small a portion really is, compared to what I thought. Portions at restaurants are ridiculous, but I never knew, so I never really knew what I was putting into my body. Now I do. I cook at home A LOT more and try to plan my meals so I am eating something healthy most of…

Always sexy :). They tell a story and make you who you are :).

So one of my students points to my head the other day and goes "You have a scar on your forehead . . . like Harry Potter!!" Score :). I'll take it, lol
-
Again you guys are awesome for the support :). Love it!!! Glad I could be an inspiration, since so many of you do that for me!!
-
Thanks again! The amount of support here keeps me inspired to keep going and changing myself for the better!
-
I still think it's amazing that I could be an inspiration . . . I still look in the mirror and see my old self sometimes. But I am very happy with my progress and wish others all the best!

Thanks again for all the kudos!! After all the negative comments the last few days, it's just what I needed!
