37 week check in this week and I was -1lb. Total gain so far 19lbs. Starting weight on my scale at home 135 (140 at the dr). 154 on my scale at home now and 159 at the dr. I really hate the doctors scale! Dilated 1-2 and he said my cervix were thinning so hopefully baby will be here soon! Still exercising the same as I've…

36 week doctor check in and I've gained a total of 20lbs. I had a goal of no more than 25lbs so hopefully I'll be able to meet that and lose it all quickly! Some have told me they gained the most the last part of pregnancy but I gained most of mine during the first/second trimester and have only gained a total of 5lbs…

Week 33/34 doctor weigh in, gained .5 pds. In total 17/17.5 pounds. I was surprised I hadn't gained more considering the baby had gained 1.5 pounds. My weight has been stable for the last month, everything looks great so I'm fine with that. Really hoping to stay 25 pounds or below by the end!

I work different muscle groups each day of the week so one day I'll do chest and shoulders with various exercises with weight machines or free weights/cables/kettlebells to work those areas, and then I'll have a day of bi's and tri's, back, lower body, etc. I try to mix it up with weight machines (which sometimes feel more…

I am 32 weeks and have continued my normal work out routine during my whole pregnancy so far which consist of 30-45 minutes cardio (I was running but it has became uncomfortable so I do the eliptical instead) and 30-45 minutes of weight training. I do use some lighter weights depending on the exercise and if I feel tired I…

32 week check in yesterday and I've gained a total of 17 pounds. I'm hoping not to gain any more than 25 and stay under 160pds, we'll see how it goes! Still hitting the gym 4-5 times weekly for 60-90 minutes, belly and baby measure right on target so I'm happy! I do feel huge and miserable though. 8 more weeks to go! :)

Had my weigh in at the doctor this week, almost 29 weeks and I'm up 16 pounds. Feels like a lot to me but since beginning my pregnancy at a healthy weight range my doctor is very pleased so far. Hoping not to go over 25 pounds by the end!

Thank you! I gained most of mine during the first trimester and it freaked me out to gain so quickly especially when I felt sick ALL the time. But, thankfully throughout my pregnancy I have been able to continue my pre-preggo workout routine (approved by my dr) of 4-6x a week, at least 45-90 minutes. A mix of 30-40 minutes…

Hello Everyone! I had my 25 week check-up on Friday, baby is great and I had only gained 1/2 pound since my last visit on 11/21. I guess the rapid gain in the beginning has hopefully slowed down a bit. Currently, 25 1/2 weeks and have gained a total of 12pounds. Beginning weight was 135 and I'm now at 147.5. Only 15 weeks…

Soooo...had the dreaded weigh in yesterday morning and at 20 weeks, I've gained a total of 11.5 pounds (146pds total). To me, this sounds like A LOT considering I have 20 more weeks to go but my doctor seemed like it was completely normal since I started off at a healthy weight (135). I have been logging my food intake…

My EDD is April 14th and we found out at 15 1/2 weeks that IT'S A BOY! The scan wasn't done by my doctor but we paid for a ultrasound at a gender reveal place where they make ultrasound DVD's and print you tons of pictures, it was super nice! I had a drs appt this week and they also confirmed that it's a BOY! Still…

allison0820, I also started lifting heavier in August..right before I found out I was preggo and have continued to do that since my doctor said it was fine for me to do so I've kinda wondered if that's some of my extra gain. I don't feel or look like I've gained weight and actually I'm not even showing yet except for my…

Starting height weight (by my home scales that I've always weighed on) 5'5", 133pds. Week 8- (my scale, 135) (doctors scale, 140) HATE the doctors scale! Week 12- (my scale, 138) (doctors scale, after eating lunch, 144) Week 16- (my scale, 140) (doctors scale, after breakfast, 147) I always weigh myself at home first thing…

I love IIFYM.com and have used it for awhile now. It's so confusing when trying to figure out what's right when pregnant because like you said, you hear so many different things. I thought I knew how to eat healthy and had it all figured out until now! I was at a healthy weight pre-preggo (135pds and I'm 5'5") and I really…

Thanks all for the advice. I have been dealing with extreme fatigue and feel like it's mostly because my diet and the extra carbs/sugar that I have been craving. When morning sickness was bad all I wanted was salt and vinegar chips or french fries and I've NEVER been a potato chip eater not even on cheat days! I've been…

I'm glad someone else ask this question, because I needed answers myself! I actually went off bc last month (was on nuvaring), have been doing Insanity (just like the schedule) along with teaching Yoga and Zumba twice a week, I never eat over 1300 calories and have gained 2.5 pds since coming off bc. I haven't changed…

I also pulled a muscle last Tuesday while doing the Level 1 drills on Insanity. I assume I was doing push-ups incorrectly. It is very painful, even hurts to breath. I'm kind of wondering if I could have fractured a rib. Would love to know somethings to do for a pulled-muscle so I can get back to my work out. Currently just…
